Has anyone tested to see if Wound Poison on Anshal during his Ultimate reduces his healing? I tried it a couple times the other night and it seemed to be working, I just wasn't able to confirm it.

When you say "kite phase" do you mean P2? Because otherwise I don't really see what value the cardboard assassin has (unless it can eat a double hit or something).

Rohash's Storm Shield is currently hitting me through cloak. Is anyone else having the same issue?

e: So it turns out Storm Shield can't be cloaked, hence the OP is misleading.

Unless the tornados were too distracting, at least a month ago the Storm Shield always hit me through CoS the few times I tried unless I timed it to immune the first tick. Generally, I only used feint to mitigate it, pooled energy to burst it down, and saved CoS to survive the Hurricane.

If you drop the CA just before transition, so that it has a taunt off and remains high threat, it can soak some damage then too. As envy860 pointed out though, it is best used for eating a double attack during a Heroic Feud.

If you still have it around by time for transition, you may as well drop it and soak some damage, especially as this will help your healers get everyone topped off before the kite phase, but be sure to let your guild know ahead time and coordinate with the tanks, so they don't panic at a sudden loss of threat. Some strategies have paladin healers taunt during Feuds to up their threat (that way they get eaten before true DPS'ers). If your guilds strategy is to taunt during a feud, this may be a time to drop the assassin, that way it is on high threat after the tank taunts back, and will be a viable target during kiting.


Either this may have been hotfixed at some point, or you can negate a tick by timing the cloak for "momentary immunity." I'll update the OP, if anyone can provide further testing, that'd be awesome.

Cho'Gall - # In phase 2, Smoke Bomb is useful on the tentacles that spawn to prevent them from targeting other people in you raid. This will most likely force them to target you, but you can negate their eye-beams with cloak.

I have tried this several times tonight and they still target people outside of it.

Engineers can use Grounded Plasma Shield to negate 8 seconds of damage from Nefarian's ticking aura during the execute phase of Chimaeron. Keep in mind that as with any tinkers, it can misfire, with possible effects being an aoe taunt (irrelevant since Chimaeron is immune to taunts in p2 anyway), increased chance to be critically hit (you will get one-shotted anyway) or a stun (this one is actually bad).

I'm 100% certain Glaciate isn't cloakable, at least not if you pre-cloak it, you'll notice on both of these cloak wears off, but only because of my death, cloak lasts for longer than the 2 and 1 seconds provided in these examples.

By pre-cloaking do you mean casting it before Glaciate starts casting? It has definitely saved my bacon when I was slow getting out.

No, I mean cloaking before it goes off as opposed to right when it goes off.

Cloak HAS saved me from glaciate, like more than a month ago, it hasn't recently, either there is a chance of failure, or it doesn't work at all anymore, either way it's not worth using on Glaciate when you can just run out.

I doubt it, since they're already casting the spell. It may prevent you (or others) from being targetted by the mind control, but that's speculative and another issue to test.
