Small point, but on H Rhyolith you can keep BF up when you are turning him by positioning yourself near the slimes that need to be killed anyway.

Again on Rhyolith, it appears Killing Spree can carry you over to some odd points. I was teled half way across the room and "attacked" some invisible object. Afterwards I had to sprint back to the boss.

Also on Shannox, Killing Spree can get you hit by traps. He can still target you when you KS and throw a trap at you while you are locked behind him for 5 seconds, as well as you can be teleported onto a trap when the boss turns to throw his spear. You can also waste your entire Spree being sucked to a dog that happens to charge by.

Edit: I stand corrected. Thanks.

Killing spree is 2.5 seconds, and since the arming period of the trap is ~2, and the boss is usually brought away from the traps a little anyway, with proper timing there should be no danger in using KS on Shannox.

Alysrazor: I read someone mentioning that the best target for Tricks of the Trades were the hatchling tanks as 10% of their 1000% damage buff is greater than anything else.

Correct. I'm often getting 150k+ damage increases on my tank per tricks.

That's the best target if your tanks are having problems finishing adds off in time. Otherwise, tricks the people flying. Alysrazor doesn't have much of a dps check, so use your tricks on where it can help the most rather then worrying about getting max throughput.

For Rhyolith think its best to use x2 1.4s as mut because he turns by attacks not damage. then near end then switch mainhand back to 1.8?

He turns base off the difference in damage done to both legs over an interval of the last X number of seconds. I'm not sure what the interval is currently set at, but at one point on the PTR it was 5 seconds, as stated by a GM.

On alysrazor, Tricks is a higher dps increase on ground phase when used on a tank, and then switch to a dps for burn phase. But the dps boost on top of the focused buff helps ALOT.

I believe Liftir was not insinuating that the dps boost to Tricksing flying targets was higher but that the dps they were doing was more important. Whether the tanks are doing 200 or 2000000 dps is not relevant as long as the add goes down in time. However, every % the flyers nuke down before the phase change can be crucial.

Impressive tank recount scores < killing the boss.

Obviously this point is rendered moot if your tanks are having trouble nuking the adds .

The consolidated information at the start of this post states:

Majordomo Staghelm
Feint works on Flame Scythe as does Cloak

Yes Feint works but are we sure cloak works too? If so is this a clock immune or cloak resist because I am certain it didn't work for me last night at least not as a cloak resist.

I'm about 99% sure it's cloak immune only. I'll give it a check when I raid next unless someone comes across with the logs.

Alysrazor Phase 2

You can attack Alysrazor while she flies around in Phase 2.

Are you saying that a tank alone should be able to kill his add before the tornadoes? In 25-man ours are around 20% when the last acolyte dies, and that is with DPS helping between acolyte 2 and acolyte 3.

Our tanks, on normal modes, haven't had an issue killing their own add with little to no to help from DPS. On our first heroic pulls last night it's a bit more of an issue - But really that just comes down to a DPS check with gear.

You can immune it though. Makes it extremely useful on heroic mode where you want your concentration bar to stay at 100 for as long as possible. Timing CoS isn't hard, simply use it 0,5-1sec before explosion.

World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis -> Damage by spell -> 2 misses on Searing Seed (1 successful hit is friendly fire from another player)
