Quick note for fellow goblin rogues. Rocket jumping between platforms in madness is bad idea, I ended up dead in waterfall below.

I can confirm that all tentacles and Deathwing himself (every enemy that can be backstabbed from all sides) cannot be missed by auto-attacks, thus you may want to reforge all your hit to other stats.
You'll still need the hit for poisons, so I wouldn't suggest reforging out of it at all. Unless it's possible to never miss with spells either, and I highly doubt that this would ever be the case.

Yes, poisons can miss all creatures in that fight.
Additionally, be aware that other mobs besides Deathwing, his arm tentacles and the other big tentacle still can be missed (Regenerative Blood, Elementium Bolt, Blistering Tentacle, Elementium Fragment, Elementium Terror).

Should be updated through here.

I can confirm that P2 Deathwing does allow for killing spree.

With heroic testing coming out tomorrow, please review all normal abilities and see which are not true for heroics. Additionally, please keep us up to date on findings regarding other abilities and their interactions with heroic abilities.

It's not a hit debuff. I browsed Blood Legion logs and i couldn't check ranged to see if they were missing as they're all hit capped but the healer shamans lightning bolts were missing. My melee and poisons were missing like normal as well.

Also if you read the spell on both normal and heroic on Dungeon Journal it says parry only. Who came up with this idea about hit...

Assuming that the raid group isn't having any issues taking down the Hideous Amalgamations during the Spine of Deathwing encounter, it is likely beneficial to use double WP due to deadly poison ramp up time as combat rogues.
Here's our kill last Sunday, WOL. We have 2 combat rogues in the group and only ~30 seconds of DP uptime on all 3 tendons combined. Maybe this statement goes without saying, but I hadn't thought of it until going through the logs.

Does anyone know if smoke bomb works on the shrapnel in phase 2 of madness? If we can green button, smoke bomb, green button, seems like we could have just ignored the adds much earlier and burned the head.

I haven't tested it but it would change P2 so much if it was working (and Smoke Bomb basically never works in pve) that I would assume that it doesn't.

After looking through world of logs, I've found that mortal strike effects reduced the self-healing that Warlord Zon'ozz does. I have not specifically tested wound poison, but I would assume it works since mortal strike does. Therefore, if you are the only one in your raid that can provide the 25% healing reduction it is worth having it on an extra weapon that you can swap in to keep it up.

The reduction comes out to something on the order of 150k reduction on each heal if you only have 10% healing reductions, around 250k if you don't have a reduction. I haven't figured out the exact numbers, but this should more than offset the dps loss for the few seconds it spends to swap in and shiv on wound.

Heroic: Morchok

just killed morchok on heroic awhile ago and figured I'd throw out some helpful (no brainer) information. if you're a rogue chances are you will be sharing the stomp damage with one of the tanks, of course feint needs to be used every time but talents like reinforced armor, deadened nerves, or Enveloping shadows. and also glyphing for CoS (this isn't really needed but it helps)

Glyphing cloak is pointless since you should be saving it for blood phases to stay on-target.

Its not pointless, as its off the gcd. If your soaking with a tank, you would know how stressful having to time feint is. Having cloak ready when you fuck up is a life saver. Definitely better then some dps during blood phase.

We had our melee run out for the stomp and the tank single soaked it so none of this was really helpful but Glyph of Sprint was. It doesn't seem like the damage split is working at all as it is described in the dungeon journal.

Edit: On heroic of course
