With how scaling is for Combat and Assassination how long do you think it will take for Combat to surpass Assassination or will Assassination will always stay ahead on single target fights?

Questions about SK Heroic:

I know you can auto-attack Qiang's shields and I am pretty sure you CANNOT do the same for Subetai (when unstunned and using his ability) and/or Zian's shield but it would be good if this could be confirmed because if you CAN auto-attack the others as well it will certainly be less of a stop/start fight. We got this fight down last night and I was stopping all attacks on Zian but someone triggered him a few times causing wipes and we THINK it was DoTs but again - should it matter if DoTs are on him so long as you don't actually cast/use an ability?!

Questions about Will HC:

Any thoughts on the best spec for Heroic Will of Emps and has anyone tried Shuriken Toss in this encounter in circumstances where you are assigned to soaking Sparks?

I had a few shots at this at the end of last night's raid and found myself quite energy starved as mutilate and damage was low + couldn't do a thing to the Emps themselves in the in quiet no add phase without risking a cleave. So I have been considering Combat with Shuriken toss for some damage in that phase + for long range crip application - maybe even Sub?!

DoT's don't proc their shields. Autoattacks or hunters do (glaives), at least on Shadow guy.

Shuriken toss would probably be worthwhile, I've done fine as the soaker without it though. But you could probably squeeze more dps out of shirken toss than the other 2 options as a soaker. As far as dodging cleaves, L2 dodge cleaves I guess?

@Druss - You can see who triggered the shields. Blizz made it so that it emotes the person who hit it. I am unclear about melee hits on shields. I just walk away and target off it when shield is up.

For Will HC, either spec would do fine. It depends on your role within the raid group, personally i tank strengths and soak that spark and whatever that comes my way. Downtime is irrelevant for that encounter, obeying the mechanics is more important.

As for shuriken toss, it could be useful in building cps for recup and SnD.

65% aoe reduced, 30% anything else. The 30% reduction and 50% reduction stack multiplicatively.

You can auto-attack any shield in this fight as a rogue. DoTs and Venomous Wounds won't proc it either.

Should i have BF enabled when i AOE multiple targets?

Actually, this isn't really the case. At some point the damage you lose from less FoK (due to lower energy gain) will exceed the duplicated auto hits.

Has anyone read anything about the [Zen Alchemist Stone] being bugged for apparently just rogues? It had a buggy proc before, and it was supposedly fixed, but sitting on the dummy I don't see any procs at all from auto/special attacks. Recuperate and poisons still seem to proc it though, and it goes off almost immediately when I put those on. Those I've talked to say that it's working "normally" for other classes.

Im looking for a simple guide or person that can explain to me where i can find a proper spec for both PVE and PVP for Rogues (dual spec)?

Question 2:
Is rogue so nerfed that peaple choose other class, nowadys?

Question 3:
Is Sub still No:1 preferd spec in PvP?

Ihope someone could answer to my simple questions or at least guide me where to look?

Icy veins says mutilate rogue should use CT...so not perhaps the best source of information.
