Has the stat weight for the weapon dps been found out? I've been thinking whether [The Gloaming Blade] or [Koegler's Ritual Knife] is better. I don't know if the weapon dps can beat the missing agility and lack of better stats.

EDIT: I did a quick calculation with the stat weights given by Aldriana on 20th and I got a -628,75 value as the answer (assuming that the proc goes up like the stacking agi trinket from DS).

As stated by Aldriana, the high EP weight for strength should be taken with a grain of salt. However, it should be noted that strength has always been a source of AP for rogues and in the event that the SimCraft and ShadowCraft modeling is accurate then strength is better than any secondary stat. Any rough ball mark EP values been done for the Tier bonuses for T14 sets for Assassination?

The only comment I will make on that BIS list is that given the existence of [Pheromone-Coated Choker] and [Pheromone-Coated Choker], it seems very likely that there will be a heroic version as well; if so, its stats would probably be 769 agi, 1154 sta, 426 haste, 564 mastery, which would make it slightly superior to [Choker of the Unleashed Storm] (to the tune of 15 EP).

And as long as we're on the topic: get all socket bonuses using Agi, Agi/Mastery, and Agi/Hit gems; optimal reforging is (I believe) as follows:

Helm: Exp->Haste
Neck: Haste->Exp
Shoulders: Exp->Mastery
Back: Crit->Haste
Chest: Crit->Haste
Gloves: Hit->Mastery
Belt: Crit->Mastery
Legs: Hit->Haste
Boots: Exp->Hit
Ring 1: Crit->Mastery
Ring 2: Exp->Haste
MH: Exp->Haste
OH: Exp->Haste

Which, if I've done my math correctly, will put you at 2559 hit and 2547 expertise.

I'll work on getting more precise EP values for the set bonuses, but they're very much going to be worth it - the 4/5 was something over 1k DPS, as I recall.

A quick query on that BIS list as well... the wrists you've put there are BOE from what I tracked on wowhead and a drop from HoF trash, so I doubt there will be a heroic version of them as history has told from drop items. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Will that make the haste bracers BIS on heroic instead if that is such the case?

If Smoother Beetle Wristguards don't exist on Heroic, Bracers of Unseen Strikes would take the lead.

I cant link [Pheromone-Coated Choker] in-game so its not there anymore ("can't receive data from server").
The wrist is pretty sure a bug (similar to the Fireland belt).
Anyone some more Info about this neck?

It was like that in Tier 11 aswell, there was a trash drop fro BoT if I recall correctly it was the trinket which was also listed in the database as BoE with a heroic version. But this just simply never got put live or was a bug. Which makes me suspect that it'll be the same.

Anyone have any ideas of what will be the better Off-hand choice before heroic Spiritsever?
Will it be the 502 Dagger of the seven stars or the 496 Spiritsever with 500 agi gem.

An LFR Spiritsever with the legendary gem beats a heroic Dagger of the Seven Stars as an OH.

So I have a few questions

1. I know mastery beats exp but does that mean you should reforge mastery and ignore exp even if it drops you 3-5% below the cap?

2. CDs, Should you be popping cds at the beginning of fights where you have 20s or so on the boss or should you save them till after you have rupture and S+D up? Also should you use shadowblades on cd or with vendetta?

3. Energy pooling,I assume you should pool before every envenom?

1. Reforge out of as much Expertise as you can to Mastery.(Obviously stay behind boss as much as possible to remove parry from the hit table)

2. SimCraft shows my optimal opening sequence as follows:

PrePot/cast stealth
begin Auto Attacks
Agility Trinket
Ambush (very close with a Mutilate)
Slice and Dice
Mut
Rupture
Vendetta
Mut
Mut
Shadow Blades
Envenom
etc.

3. yes you should pool energy before an Envenom if you will be on the boss for the next two mutilates. No sense in wasting your Envenom buff due to low energy. Ideally you would like to be waiting on the GCD for your envenom Mutilates.

Your mileage will vary.

Edit: Use your vendetta and Shadow Blades on cooldown so long as you will be on target for the durations.
