Probably stupid question, but how does the new bladeflurry work now?

Alternatingly hitting 1 out of 4 additional targets for 40% or hitting all 4 targets at the same time for summed up 40% additional, or actually hit up to 4 additional targets simultanously for 40%.

These changes are confusing...

The idea is that if you have 5 targets in range, you'll hit your current target for X and each of the 4 other targets will take 0.4*X for a grand total of 2.6*X damage. If there's only one target to flurry to, then you just do the X + 0.4*X = 1.4*X damage, rather than the 2*X damage you do with the current flurry. A nerf when there's 2 or 3 mobs, a buff when there's 4 or 5.

Of course if your goal is to burn down a target at a time rather than evenly dps them all then the change is bad in every case.

Tried the new boss on PTR today and while the new BF was cool, most of the time was hard to get in range of 4 targets to hit if they werent perfectly positioned wonder if they have in mind an increase in range similar to FoK or something similar to make it more practical, though it could have been lag problems

A bit of utility improvement from Ghostcrawler:
Skull Bash costs nothing on the PTR build. Kick too. That may have missed the patch notes.

Was there a blue post somewhere that I missed saying what the new rogue PVP glove bonus is now, since kick is already free? Or have they not said anything about that yet since this is a recent change?

List of my ranked fights.

PvP gloves - changed to increase healing by Recuperate by 1% of health.

Daxxarri posted in a WoW forum thread earlier today that Shuriken Toss in 5.2 will not proc non-lethal poisons (either with the CP-generating component or the new ranged autoattacks). I've barely been raiding this tier, so a question for those of you who have been: How many fights in the current tier would be affected if we didn't currently have the ability to proc non-lethal poisons with ST? How often does, for instance, the application of Crippling on adds while at range come in truly handy?

As far as I am concerned, only H-Will would be, and not by that much. But it is the only fight where I used ST at all, and it was mainly because I solo soaked almost every Spark. We are currently at 11/16, so I can't really speak for H-Terrace, but I don't believe I will be using it at all for those last 5 fights.

There are no Sword/Mace/Axe for Rogues in 5.2 or i'm overlook something? So the new Transmog is just useless for us.

There is a 1H Agi Mace in the Gamefiles (and a Fist)
5.2 Raid - Normal - Throne of Thunder - Boss 9 Loot 1 - Agi Melee Mace1H - Item - World of Warcraft (Stats are Placeholders atm)

@Rfeann None (Every Rangeclass do it better atm), its just a Change that you cant perma slow/stun Pvp Opponents on 30y Range without doing anything (which was the Case on the PTR). If you realy need a Range Slow, Deadly Throw still does it (and its more or less in the "normal" range Rotation when you realy cant go in Meleerange)

Latest changes:

- Blind - cooldown increased to 2 min (from 90 sec).
- Preparation - no longer resets the cooldown of Cloak of Shadows.
- Cloak of Shadows - cooldown reduced to 60 sec (from 2 min).

PvP changes. Not having double cloak is a nerf on the PTR but many Rogues dont take Prep now anyway so it is not a huge difference compared to live.

However, in PvE having a 1 minute cloak is nice. Just like we had in Cata (with the right spec). On some fights cloak has good utility in PvE and saves the healers a lot of mana (thinking Lei Shi and WOE, glyphed to reduce physical damage on Zorlok, Garalon, Blade Lord, Spirit Kings) and so the extra uptime is appreciated. It is better overall than a 2 min Cloak with Prep imo. I can't think of any examples when we need a double cloak or cloaks in quick succession.

I'd suggest H-Will when soaking all sparks. But I agree with you on the general principle, 1mn cloak will be very nice overall.

If you time it right and your raid isn't completely AFK one cloak should be more than enough to cloak them all (shadowstep, sprint, etc).

I was more thinking of cases when for two consecutives packs of Rage, the two Rage die at the same time on the same point. I have to use Cloak each time to soak the two sparks. And I think that consecutive packs of rage routinely die within a 1mn interval but I may be wrong (I currently use prep on this fight just for that eventuality, but I would obviously love to also have Shadowstep).
