How is it not a bug? Setting one of your professions to Blacksmithing gives you a prismatic socket while it shouldn't.

My mistake, you are correct. I thought you were referring to the fact that the weapon socket hadn't made it to live as being the bug (which is obvious from my post), not that you were referring to the SS showing a weapon socket.

Vef,
I'm getting an odd number for Agility on your most recent update. I've set buffs to zero but am still seeing a much larger number on the spreadsheet than I am in game.
Also I'm trying to optimize gems currently and the Gem Upgrade Check function seems to be giving me conflicting data. Can you explain its use a bit?
Aside from that let me say thanks for the updated sheet. You've saved all of us some data crunching by inputting the new items.
Kind regards.

Well I tried Aldriana's combat sheet and Vef's combat sheet and there is around 300 dps difference in same gear and talent set up so could you check this matter a bit.
Second thing I am interested in.. do u intend to make working macros for Open Office too?
Otherwise thanks for your work.. keep it up that way !

I compared my sheet with Aldriana's and i only see a difference of 40-50 dps. Are you sure both use same combat durations and using TotT on cooldown in the 'Talents & Settings' worksheet is set to 0.
I won't make macros work for OpenOffice because the macros were made from Furtim posted some pages before and I'm not really proficient in BASIC.

Formula Error?
Not sure if anyone else picked up on this, but I found an error in the AP calculation (only checked the Roguecraft_3.1_macro_-_mutilate spreadsheet). Currently it always assumes Flask of Endless Rage is selected from 'Buffs'.
I changed the value for cell B3 on the DPS worksheet to this and it seems to work now:
=FLOOR(((B1+B2+clevel*2-20)*(1+0.02*tdead+0.02*tbp)+FLOOR((SUM(Gear!F12:F94)+SUM('DPS Calc 2'!P9:P10)+SUM('DPS Calc 2'!Q63:Q69)+IF(duration=0,infavgap,'Cooldowns 2'!R1)+bapflat+(180+(64*OR(cprof1="Alchemy",cprof2="Alchemy")))*beflask+(265*(1+0.25*OR(cprof1="Alchemy",cprof2="Alchemy"))*bedemon+200*azzinoth)*(btype="Demon")+80*bfap)*(1+0.02*tdead+0.02*tbp),1))*(1+bapmul),1)
Thank you so much for keeping this updated!

Well, the difference between Vef's and Aldrianna's sheet with all buffs switched on is 30 dps for me (6834 vs 6805 respectively). The strange thing is, when I compare Vef's combat and mutilate sheet. My mutilate gear is slightly inferior than my combat set with worse mainhand dagger and wrists (in the effort to cap expertise) but both have 4/5 T8. The mutilate sheet shows a buffed dps of 7251 vs 6834 for combat on a murderable boss. On a non-murderable boss it is 6817 vs 6834 for combat. Is the difference between the 2 specs really that high on murderable bosses? I find it a little suprising.

Last time I checked Murder is a 4% damage boost. 6817*1.04 = 7089.68 DPS
Previously it was giving roughly a 6% damage boost, as the murder bonus was applied twice to crits, which would yield roughly 7226 DPS. I suspect that the sheet you're using still counts murder as affecting crits twice.

Gems in Vef's sheet
In the 3.1 mutilate sheet that i've looked at so far, the JC only gems aren't correctly set to any color, and you're missing the Delicate Stormjewel.

Something's weird
This is from my current gearset with the Gem Upgrade button hit:
I can't think of any plausible reason why switching from a high DPS gem to a stam gem should boost my DPS by close to 150?
Edit: Sorry, should have given more info- My current gearset on the combat spreadsheet, or my current gearset with Daschal's Bite instead of Insanity's Grip on the mutilate sheet.

That could be the value of RED. Perhaps by putting in the blue gem you are activating your meta. As far as I remember Vulajin's spreadsheet used to check the conditions for meta gems and change dps accordingly.

Ah, there you go. I had the wrong gem in my boots per the spreadsheet.
Funny thing, I think I made the same fuckup with Ald's spreadsheet back in early TBC, posted about it, and looked like a total retard then too.

I modified the macro so that "Enchanted Tear" and "Delicate Stormjewel" don't show up in the upgrade list if you have equipped them already. Also "JC only" gems don't show up if you're wearing 3 already.

Don't know if it's like this for the other files, but for the 3.1 Mutilate file, on the Talents sheet, you replaced the '=saveddps' with a value.

With the version of Office/Excel I use, I find it much easier to delete the macro of saved dps & use the cell E8 for: +c8-c9.
It's essentially the same idea, but it may help you.

I have to ask since the results I found between combat vs mutilate on BIS gear 3.2 is pretty disturbing for mutilate rogues...
Sheet says 8940,69dps on combat and 8847,96 (murderable) 8488,59 (nonmurderable), cant really see what suddenly happened, why is the difference so big, then I looked the Total DPS by calculating the White DPS+Mutilate DPS etc together and results are actually, 8589,75 dps Combat and 8938 (murderable) 8575 (nonmurderable)
I just wonder if theres an error on Total DPS value shell or are there some hidden values that explain the difference?

The green box doesn't include Killing Spree dmg, which should explain it on the combat sheet. But I don't know why there is a difference on your mutilate sheet, my numbers match 100% there.
The dmg boost on combat in 3.2 should be the extra armorpen. on items, which isn't so very great for mutilate.

I'm wondering if Roguecraft LK 0.4.7.xls is the last spreadsheet he has made? or did he make another but it's just not on the front page..
some forms make it where you cannot edit the first post after so many days, looked through about 40 pages and found nothing

Vef's doing a terrific job of updating it. See 5 posts above...
