The meta is hard-coded into the sheet, it assumes you will always have it. Thus it is no wonder you get a dps loss when you swap out a gem with high EP stats on it for a nightmare tear. That said, I'm sure a simple search through these forums would have turned up a similar answer.

I do not know if this qualifies as a simple question, but hopefully someone can work through this with me logically.
Currently I'm running Herkuml in my combat setup. As combat starts, I immediately get snd running and then pop blade flurry to decrease my dp/herkuml rampup time and increase the likelihood of potency procs while my rotation stabilizes.
Where I am torn is when to use killing spree. Do I pop it immediately to further reduce my rampup time or do I wait for full herkuml stacks before using it? In either case it will still be used during blade flurry, so that needn't be a factor. The choice seems to be whether to increase the absolute time when herkuml will be running at full stacks by popping it immediately, versus having the 20% increased damage during ks apply to ip procs instead of deadly stacking and to apply to a greater overall dps period due to herkuml.
The delta in either direction is surely inconsequential, but I still feel like it's something that should have a quantifiable answer.

The number of Rage of the Fallen stacks (the Herkuml buff) you have doesn't make nearly as big of a difference on your initial KS damage as your other trinket and ring procs.
Let's break it down:
Herkuml give static 340 AP
Ashen Verdict Ring gives a 410 AP proc
Mark of Supremacy gives 1024 AP for 20 seconds
Obviously, Mark of Supremacy will have the largest effect on your KS and since the duration of the buff is 20 seconds it is reasonably safe to assume that your ring will proc before Mark of Supremacy expires (this won't always happen though). So, I would suggest that you get SnD running, pop your trinket (or pop the trinket right at the start) and wait for the ring to proc, then pop KS. It is a pretty good chance that Herkuml will be near 20 stacks at that point, and even if it isn't those last few stacks account for less than 100 AP. One caveat is that you don't want to wait all to long to pop KS, because trinket procs or not, 2 KS > 1 KS.

1. If I have a trinket, that has a "Use" proc, and I want to make use of this proc in a boss fight, I create a macro, that uses the trinket and than immediately attacks with a special attack. I am just too lazy and forgetfull to use the trinket manually.
Q: With which attack should I bind it? Mutilate or Envenom? Or does it even matter?
2. TotT shares a global cooldown with mutilate, ... I have 2 pcs of T10, so full TotT uptime is more than desirable. I have a macro using TotT on a predefined target.
Q: Is it possible and advisable to bind TotT with any attack? Maybe putting it on the same key after mutilate and than spam it when TotT is about to cool down? Or do you use TotT on a special key and use it as a part of rotation?

I wouldn't macro either. There are many fights were you need the extra burst (on-use trinket) or need to TotT a tank (as opposed to a DPS'er) at specific times. So spamming those via macro isn't advisable.

EA Maintenance Question (Mut)
When maintaining EA as Mut and sitting at 4 CPs and it's about to drop, what is the best way to get the fifth CP under normal circumstances?
A: Mutilate, wasting 1-2 CPs
B: Weapon swap/SS
C: Shiv
I've been running 10 mans with a Marks Hunter, Blood DK, Feral tank, etc.

I wouldn't. Just as in a normal Envenom only cycle, getting a 5th CP after already having 4 is going to waste potential damage. Unlike other finishers, EA is not stronger if you use more CPs, it just lasts a few seconds longer. Your rotation will feel much more comfortable for you and may provide slightly better DPS if you simply substitute EA over Envenom when needed rather than trying to maximize the duration of each application of EA.

First, sorry if this was answered before, I tried searching but couldn't really find anything relevant..
If 2 combat rogues that trade tricks are using the glyphs: KS/SS/Eviscerate and both swap eviscerate for TotT glyph, would that increase both of their dps?
Thanks!

The TotT glyph is always a raid dps increase if used on another DPS.

Putting in +AP/+Crit gems, for example, seems to confirm that the +AP/+hit gems are the superior choice as far as the sheet's dps calculation goes.
My impression was that hit's value fell off sharply after the Poison Cap...at the very least making it inferior to most other stats after that point. Apparently, I was off on that presumption? (And yes, the various raid hit buffs are turned on in the settings, too.) I can't seem to find info on hit in the FAQ or guide other than listing the poison cap with various buffs for different specs.

Hit's value does fall off sharply after the poison cap. But that doesn't necessitate that it's less valuable than crit or haste. Think through the value of hit logically. Say you swing every 10 seconds, hit for 100, and hit 90% of the time. A percent of hit either direction isn't going to jump your dps by a huge margin. Adding even a relatively small amount of AP will increase your dps by a large margin, though. Now imagine you hit for 10,000 instead of 100. Adding AP is going to increase your swing size by a tiny amount, whereas adding the same item value of hit is going to be a much larger leap. This is how stats scale in relative value with each other. The harder you hit, the more valuable it is for you to crit. The more often you swing or hit (due to haste/hit), the more valuable it will be for you to hit harder. Etc. It's an interplay between linear stat gains (AP/spell power) and percentage-based gains (everything else). When the spreadsheet shows hit as more valuable than crit or haste, it simply means that you have a sufficient amount of your other stats that the best way to increase your dps is to land more of your swings rather than critting more often or swinging more frequently.

Also should I still use Needle Encrusted Scorpion instead of Mark of Supremacy even though it would put me over cap when it procs, and also should I keep up EA if there's no sunder available or just burn hard with Evis?

Sunder is always a dps increase. That's a dps increase, not a meters increase. It's entirely possible that you will be lower on the meters because your personal dps relative to others will suffer from losing a significant number of finishers. But everyone in the raid who does physical damage, including you, will have a higher absolute dps number - and that's really what matters at the end of the day. It's the same reason rogues should really always be using tott glyph, even if they don't have another rogue to trade with. Net raidwide dps increase trumps personal standings on the meters.
You'll need to tinker around with a spreadsheet to get good answers for your armor pen questions. There is no set point when armor pen simply trumps ap regardless of other circumstances. Well, there is, but it's not an answer that will help you. If you're able to reach 1000+, it is very likely that you will benefit from stacking as much armor pen as possible. It is also very unlikely that an armor pen proc trinket will be better than the mark of supremacy if you're so far above the soft cap. Particularly the NES which has the lowest uptime of the arpen trinkets in the first place. If you do decide to put your setup into a spreadsheet, try three setups - full arpen in every socket apart from a nightmare tear or a no-brainer socket bonus (like an 8 agi helm bonus), armor pen in every socket that the spreadsheet does not recommend gemming for the bonus, and zero armor pen past the soft cap with NES equipped. Setup one will almost definitely give you the best results, but you'll just have to see.

Personally, I would go ahead and waste those last few seconds of my previous rupture. Better to have it up all the time than have it down for 5 secs while trying to rebuild the cp's. The only time I use a 1-3 cp "throw-in" is if the target is almost dead, and then I use the points on S&D (evis in my case, since I am mut/hfb spec), especially if it is a mob fight, so that I have it up and ready when I change targets. If it is the middle of boss fight, try popping a potion of speed. This will help maintain your dps for a little bit while you wait for your energy to restore and then you can get off a SS and a full 4-5 point finisher. Keep in mind, I am hfb spec, and never have tried a combat spec, so I could be way off on everything.

I am quite sure that the best thing to do in that scenario is simply SS another one or even two times. It is better to waste the extra combo points than to cap your energy or clip your rupture.
I am still new to the Rupture cycle (and rogues in general) but from what I have read the optimal Rupture cycle is much more complicated than the standard Evis-only cycle. You should take a look at Aldrianna's spreadsheet if you haven't already - it will give you some numbers to look out for. These numbers will be a) the optimal size SnD that should be up, and b) the amount of time left on Rupture when you should look to add in an extra Eviscerate to your rotation.

Got a couple questions about a Combat rogue.
1. Rupture cycle on long single target fights (ex. Saurfang)?
2. Would Tricks of the Trade glyph be more beneficial than Evis glyph? If using evis cycle and +2 t10
3. Should I be reaching poison hit cap or staying below depending on IFF/Misery (Mookin/Spreist % hit buff) For all fights (even Deathwhisper with a cleave strat.) ???

I've been using Aldriana's Spreadsheet for combat and as a Combat rogue, Arp its likely the best stats but on the spreadsheet, when I fill the yellow socket with 20ap/10hit to get the socket bonus I get socket bonus I get a higher dps than socketing everything Arp. So the main question is should I do what the spread sheet says or just socket everything with arp ?(ignore the wodin and Ashen band since I use for both pve and pvp).

If the sheet tells you a certain gem composition yields a larger total dps, there's an exceptionally high chance that it is correct, however, one huge caveat here concerning armor pen. Arp is one of if not the only stat that becomes relatively better as you get more of it. Typically, most stats will reduce their relative weights as you stack them (stacking haste makes hitting harder better, i.e. ap/crit, while stacking ap or crit will often make hitting more often better, etc), however, the more armor pen you have on your gear and gems, the better each following point of armor pen will be. So that said, what you really want to do with your spreadsheet, is try the "as much arp as you can get" extreme, and write down the dps result. Then try gemming how the sheet suggests (or how is intuitive to you, the gem recommendations in the sheet will only take you so far) and see how that fares against the "all arp" setup. Also realize that if you're at all crit-capped, that 10 hit is probably worth more than you expect, and that could be a factor as well. Hopefully that makes sense and helps.
