Mists of Pandaria Shaman bugs

In the tradition of the Cataclysm bug thread, this is a place to collect observations and reports of bugs with our class for the coming expansion. If you find a class mechanic that isn't behaving as expected based on tooltips, patch notes, or blue posts, obviously first use the official channels to report your find (in-game beta/ptr report tool, official Blizzard forums). But after you do that, posting here will not only increase awareness within the shaman player community, but will also provide another opportunity to bring the issue to the attention of the game developers. While Blizzard employees only post on the official forums, we know they do read community sites like ours.

I'll start things off with this report from the MoP beta discussion thread (context is enhancement aoe mana cost):

Fire Nova is almost certainly bugged, or else Mental Quickness has an incorrect tooltip. MQ is supposed to reduce the cost of "your instant beneficial, damaging, and totem spells" by 75%. Fire Nova's current cost in Enhancement spec is 5140. Currently, the in-game bug reporting tool is disabled. Bugs related to class issues are being posted on the beta class forums. Aggregating here in our traditional rigor should be a nice complement to the wow boards.

Searing totem and Feral Spirits are acting odd and significantly delayed, although I've heard reports of other guardian type pets being affected as well.

Newest patch:

Fire Nova not be affected by MQ has now been fixed.

Personal buff icons not showing up on the buff bar has been fixed.

Feral Spirits are acting odd and significantly delayed, still behaving the same 5/13/2012 .. I CL two mobs and seem like they could not decide which mob to attack, so they just stood there and watch.

Bug in build 15739:

If you're in Ghost Wolf form and are talking to a Flight Master you get transformed into your Ascendance form with the buff and everything but the CD on the skill itself is not triggeredyou cancel your Ghost Wolf form you get transformed into your Ascendance form without triggering the CD on the skill itself. Tested in Unskilled Resto and fully glyphed/skilled Enhancement Spec, worked with Flight Masters in Valley of the Four Wins as well in Kun-Lai Summit. Reported on EU boards (here), but someone should also report it on US ones just to be sure.

Purify Spirit's CD seems to reset down to zero every time you use it.

Stacks of earth shield will not drop from the target but the shield will vanish after 10min have passed. Same goes for water shield.

Current Build: While Stormstrike still works, in Ascended form Enhancement Shaman do not appear to be able to proc [Wrath of Unchaining] from melee attacks; possibly because of the swap over from melee to spell/nature damage. One suspects the entire family of "on melee hit" trinkets won't proc in that state if that's the case. Reported as a bug in the assumption that this is not intended.

Version 5.0.1 Build 15752

Not sure if these are working as intended.

Healing Stream Totems first tick is not affected by Mastery.
Unleash Fury does NOT stack with Unleash Life's original buff therefore while not using the talent Unleash life will buff your next spell by 30% whereas with Unleash Fury the next spell will be buffed by 50% and not 80%. This goes for the following spells :Healing Wave, Healing Surge,Greater Healing Wave,Riptide ( direct heal and HoT ).

Unleash fury as of now will be buffing the target not the shaman unlike unleash life. However it doesn't explain why it doesn't work with some of our signature spells.

- Ghost Wolf/Ascendance Form bug has been fixed with build 15762 (todays patch).
- Stack-on-Hit Trinkets still don't gain stacks from auto attacks while under Ascendance effect.

Mana tide totem doesn't scale with mastery, not sure if working as intended since our deep healing is supposed to affect all of our heals.

Unleash Fury only buffs next direct single target heals for 50% and not 80%. Also, the Unleash Fury buff is not absorbed when you cast riptide on your target buffing riptide by 50% and the next spell ( Healing wave, healing surge, greater healing wave ) for another 50%.
