Anyone using Totem Caddy? I tried it for a while, and I think it has a lot of promise - The Big Button is nifty. There are a couple little annoying features though like if you size it too small the drop down won't show all the totems, so now i just run with Totem Box. I like having all my totems visible and in one place.
sTotemTimers is a VERY lightweight, LUA-based totem timer mod that takes up roughly 4kb of memory space. It provides all the features I really care about when I put down totems: the time until they expire. No stupid, bloated, extra features that I'll never use.
sFilter is also nice, you can configure it (once again, LUA-only) to show when your target has the SS debuff, FS, your shield charges, etc.
I've been using Yata since the release of WOTLK (or a large portion). It seems to bug out, a little for some reason. The totem timers don't stay where I locked them they reset. Does any one know any addons that may of caused this bug? I can't seem to find one. I love the addon though.

My timers move to a set location every time I log in. The fix (for me at least) is to open the settings and change the timer bar texture from its current setting to any random setting, and then back to the original. As for the actual problem and a permanent fix, I'd love to know as well.
I used Yata from level 1 till WotLK but since it wasn't being maintained I switched to Totemtimers (tried a few others first) and it does everything Yata and a few things that yata didn't. Really like the enhancement module for instance.
While I really like ShockandAwes CD bars, I was wondering if it were possible in the future to have the actual cooldown time on the bars, say "1.5s" on the SS bar before it comes off cooldown. It also doesn't seem to hide itself outside of combat unless I'm in a raid, so I have the my shield bar constantly up while idle on the side of my UI.
I love addon/UI centric threads, as actual content encourages to maybe spend a little bit more time on UI tweaking than usual. As my girlfriend is playing a rogue I check the rogue forums from time to time and I'd love to see a UI thread similar to The Rogue UI: Your Silent Partner. A good setup UI just makes us better players and having three viable raid specs with very different play styles would leave room for a lot of productive discussion that has no place in the UI forums or in this thread.
As far as Totem mods go: I'm not so happy with Totemtimers while it still is the best mod for my needs out there. But actually I wouldn't need anything else than the TT castsequence macro which is just absolutely great. The timer buttons I don't really use often and I'd love to be able to hide them to show on mouseover.

Looks good and takes up a minimum of screen space, destroy a totem on right click is the only interactive feature.
I've been working on a sister thread to Latito's on our forums for a few days - if I get it finished before someone else starts the shaman version then I'll post mine up.

I had the same problem when using Totem Timer with the totem bar keep resetting to the default position in the middle of the screen and any settings lost. After contacting a GM i was informed that the way he had solved the same problem was was reset your console UI. It sounded a little odd to me but after logging out disabling all my addons i logged back in typed /console resetui (/console reloadui should also work)to reset my UI. After that i turned on all my addons set a few up again and since them its been working fine.
This lead me to believe that the problem lies with the totem mods failing to register the latest version of the savedVariables.lua, although i am no addon expert, so please take this info as a "it worked for me" solution and not a piece of solid expert advice.
Has anyone had any luck getting Yata working in 3.1? I've been messing around a little bit in the lua code to try to figure it out but to no avail. I really prefer it's layout for having expandable totem lists for each element when you mouse over them, which is a functionality that seems to be rare for most totem mods. If anyone knows of any comparable mods with the same functionality (Numen was the only other one I found, but it looks like both have been abandoned by their authors) that would also be really helpful.
It would be really usefull to get some kind of mod to track magma totem, i was using the built in x-perl totem timers for it but now in 3.1 they changed it so its gone.
Maybe just like a button with a countdown in the middle and a clock-countdown shader thing, or just a bar? I've been looking for a mod to do this but i can't seem to find one since magma totem doesn't get tracked as a buff or a debuff.
The flexibility is the key. I have set up Grid to indicate Earth Shield with a pink indicator in the top right corner - this lets me see when my ES runs out or where the other restos put theirs (or fail to do so, just to be flamed right away). I use Totem Timers to track the amount of remaining ES charges. Of course there should be a loose agreement on which shaman puts his shield on whom, especially when one uses Glyph of Lesser Healing Wave - Spell - World of Warcraft.
But these two addons are also useful to Elemental and Retribution Shamans, being able to point heal when the shit hits the fan or to spam two or three chain heals when the dedicated healers are troubled otherwise, can save the day. Same goes for dispelling poisons and diseases, the newest Clique version reportedly supports dual spec, so you can have the same buttons set up for different spells, for example 'cleanse spirit' on ctrl-left/right mouse button while being resto and ctrl-left mouse button for 'cure posion' and the other for 'cure disease' while being everything else.

Enhancer does this, in fact it can give timers for all 4 of your totems. Given the demand I will probably add a magma bar to ShockAndAwe too, just really busy at present so haven't much time to test this.
Author of ShockAndAweEnhancement Shaman max dps addon
Please use the EnhSim by Ziff & others to simulate what gear, priorities etc are the best dps. You can use ShockAndAwe to export your paperdoll stats to EnhSim.

I use TotemTimers for this, too. As the name implies, it shows you timers for any totems you have down. I've also enabled the option to play a sound when any of my totems is destroyed or expires - I forget the name of the sound clip I chose, but it's unmistakable when it goes off. Very helpful reminder to glance down at the totem timers and see which one vaporized (although you already know in most situations, if you've been dropping magma or grounding, etc.).
TotemTimers has never left me saying, "I wish it had a way to do _____" with regard to totems.

If you couple it with OmniCC I think you'll be quite happy.
Also I've been having a problem with my maestrom weapon bar with SAA since PTR/patch. However I figured out the solution so here it is in case anyone else has noticed the problem. Randomly it seemed that my MW bar would stop tracking my procs and I couldn't figure it out until today. There's a bug with the talent trees(at least I hope I'm not the only one) where you may spec and half way through you notice you're short talent points. Relogging fixes this but that's just one of the problems with the talent trees since 3.1 going live. Another bug and the culprit here was I was fully spec'd and my abilities were working(I.E. MW & Ferals) but in the actual talent tree they were grayed out as if they weren't spec'd into. This is what causes your MW bar to not track the build up stacks of MW. So if you're having this problem respec and make sure they're colored in and it will solve this problem. I've heard a few people mentioning the bottom of their talent tree talent-wise disappears as well so I thought I'd throw this out there.
Overall SAA is an excellent mod and I wouldn't want to play as enhancement without it.
In the EventHorizon/DoTimer space, I like ButtonTimers for elemental. It displays timers in fixed locations and can track cooldowns in the same bar group as auras (which is surprisingly rare in this space). As an additional cue, you can set a different color for each spell. Functionally, I don't think it does anything EventHorizon doesn't do, but some people might find it easier to process timer bars than the scrolling EventHorizon display.

I was using Enhancer + Numen a lot of time ago, and I have to admit I really loved the combination.
Then they both died... Enhancer somehow still works (but bugged and a lot of its functions/modules do not work anymore), Numen doesn't work.
Currently I've been using TotemTimers which is definitely the best atm, imho. I've used most other totem addons, but nothing gets as far as TotemTimers imho. It started as a simple timers addons, but slowly it built more and more functionalities, and it is nowadays a very very very useful addon for shamans of all specs.
I used to use Ellipsis for a while, which I found thanks to ForteXorcist (ForteWarlock then), which might prove useful to some.
You can squeeze a lot of functionality from addons you already use, like Quartz, Elkano'sBB or PitBull, without cluttering your UI with more addon 'goodness'.

This. I used to have GotWood long, coupled with a series of totem macros for various situations, but ever since I use TotemTimers, I haven't looked back since. Two clicks - macro's done. Don't need earth totem? /tt, tag out Earth, done. Need to swap air and fire? /tt, push button up on fire, done. Add shield tracker, ankh timer, sound on totem death, etc. and you have one hell of an overall simple, yet very effective shaman addon.
Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.
I have been posted as an author on YATA and will keep it updated if it needs it, so far it hasn't needed updating. It works fine on live - really must get round to test more stuff on PTR though, as was said I'm kinda busy.
I noticed after today's patch my poison totem icon is missing from the totem bar pop-up selection. Is there a way to add it back in via options?
Poison Cleansing Totem no longer exists. It was merged into Disease Cleansing Totem, and the resulting skill, Cleansing Totem, uses the old Disease Cleansing Icon.
I mentioned this in the UI thread but I thought it actually more relevant to here (wish I had seen this thread first).
I have started using a mod called Full Moon which tracks our abilities and CDs in both enhancement and elemental specs. The dev is quite active and is working on a resto interface and also has added some PvP enhancements.
It is available for download at Curse and if you want to see what it looks like check out my UI in the Shaman UI thread.
