2) Heroic versions of items: these items share the same name as other items but have better stats. They are always one item level tier above their counterpart. These items are unique in that you cannot equip both the heroic and normal mode versions of them. E.g: Death's Choice (ilvl 258) and Death's Choice (ilvl 245)

This is untrue, you can use normal and heroic version of the items. I have both heroic and normal version of Ring of Callous Aggression

I'm sure this will change the gear list if we can use 2 versions of the same trinket, ect

Did you not read my post? I have both the heroic and normal version of Ring of Callous Aggression
and I was wearing both of them.

Armory is not updated so you won't see it on my armory, just like my achievements for 10m/25m heroic toc

I was under the impression it's not supposed to allow you to wear both 245 and 258, but I'll take double Callous Aggression any day.

If that's "working as intended" I wonder if Death's Verdit proc will/would stack...

Should be working as intended. The heroic items are afterall, a replacement for designing brand new gear. I don't ever recall blizzard saying they can't both be equipped. The items do have separate item ID's. The spell ID's for the deaths verdict procs are also different, that's no way of determining if they share a cooldown however.

Double Callous should still below H: Callous, and H:Planeswalker because of the Gem Socket.

The bis wrist slot should show [Bracers of the Silent Massacre] instead of [Bracers of the Silent Massacre] otherwise even the leatherworking craft [Crusader's Dragonscale Bracers] is bit better for its gem slot.

I picked up the 232 and 245 versions of [Binding Stone] (pretty bad for healers, but better than my lvl 70 blue resto trinkets). And yes I can equip both. Logged out with both equipped if you want to check out my armory.

Yes I was certainly mistaken; apologies for this. I remember reading somewhere that the 'unique' status of the items meant that you could only equip one of them, as the name prohibited you from wearing the other. It seemed logical to me so I guess I accepted it without really thinking into it enough. I will update soon.

My question now is whether or not Paragon (the Death's Verdict proc) can double stack. A post above indicates that they have different spell IDs, but many different items with different spell ID share proc cooldowns.

A 2xFT setup with t9 2p/4p and both versions of that trinket could probably produce some interesting results.

I doubt it would be any good but even if it was care to make a wager on how fast Blizzard would hotfix it to not proc from FT crits if that actually worked out better then WF/FT.

A few notes:

1) Thanks, Torcha, for pointing out that I was using the wrong bracers (245 version). This has been corrected
2) Removed section stating that you could not equip normal and heroic versions of items. This was incorrect. As an aside, Comet's Trail still sims higher than the Death trinkets. I think some work needs to be done to double check the proper ring combination- I will try to do this soon.
3) Thanks, Rouncer, for pointing out that Mana spring and BoW were enabled. This has been corrected. I had to change the 'use SR when mana at X' to 4000 mana- this was the optimal threshold.
4) Thanks, Rouncer, for pointing out that LS refresh was set to zero. It is now set at 1, which is the optimal threshold.

I tested out my death's choice with a darkmoon card: greatness the other day and both procced at the same time. If those two can proc at the same time, and the unique status does not prevent them from being wearable, I don't see a reason that the buffs could not co-exist.
