Decided to stop lurking for a request. Im a long time user of the excel sheet but I only just happened upon the 2. version.
Recently I rerolled another Warlock for Orcishness. Originally wanted to try FG spec in Endgame raid with my sorta finished Undead Warlock since I have nothing else left to do but the ever present slight annoyance of not having Orc Blood Fury (lev*2+3 spelldam every 2 min) then got compounded by not having Orc Command (petdam +5%).
I can see you now have the excel sheet setup to calculate Racial bonuses in the Gear_Buffs tab, so the time would be ripe to ask for inclusion of Blood Fury and Command which would be pretty straightforward.

Perhaps add an option to chain [Super Mana Potion] or [Destruction Potion]?
edit: Of course you've already done this. Don't know how I didn't see it. How embarrassing.

Just tried downloading 2.2 (10am GMT 21 mar 08) but excel says it is corrupted very badly and has to repair the file (and now all macros are gone because of the repair).
I have tried re-downloading in case it was just a bad download... but same.
2.1 downloads and runs fine.
Anyone else getting file corruption? I am still running Excel 2002 - I assume this is still compatible.

I like to be able to see how things change (specifically my +hit) when I'm fiddling with gearsets, and scrolling down to the bottom of the Gear_Buffs tab to see it each time is annoying. I had used the columns E-Q of row 1 to just be duplicates of the data in row 104.
I know I can add another row and just do it that way, but I thought either there may be a way to do this without adding a row (am I missing some of the information display anywhere?) or this is a nice thing to add.

You can modify the macros he's using to copy different cells. I made the same modifications, and had the same frustration. I don't have the sheet in front of me right now, but I don't remember the changes being difficult. That said, I would definitely second the request to add a stat summary row at the top of the Gear page (or just move the summary row from the bottom to the top).

Love the new spreadsheet, great job! Just two small requests, if you could add these items.
1. [Amulet of Unfettered Magics]
2. Sunflare (has yet to drop but confirmed on the leaked Sunwell item list) Stats are: 17 Stam, 20 Int, 23 Spell Haste Rating, 30 Spell Crit Rating, 292 Damage

Drums of Battle are currently listed as 27 haste with a formula of 80 * 40/120. If I'm not mistaken, this should be 80 * 30/120 = 20 haste since the buff only lasts 30 seconds.

Band of Eternal Sage undervalued?
The Band of the Eternal Sage has a 15 sec proc with a 45 second internal cooldown even though the tooltip mentions it as a 10 sec proc. I'm curious to know what values were used to find the proc equivalent to ~14 dmg.

If you go to advanced info tab you can see how the dmg for the ring is calculated. You can then change the value of the proc time (10->15).

And the rings get to the intended 10 second length next patch. No idea if cooldown gets changed but most likely not since the change was something around inline with the tooltip and people, even devs, are lazy so unless someone thought about this as gamebreaking it's gonna be 10 sec effect on a 45 sec internal CD.

Will be fixed in the next version, thank you !

The formulas seem correct. The problem must come from the value of each stat. Check the value of each stat in the "The Next Stat" table on DPS tab. Normal value are from 0 to 2 (dps gain per point). If you have incorrect values, 1) try to manually refresh the calculation (F9 spam).

Can someone explain to me why the 23 spell damage food is noticeably better than the 20 spell crit food when at T6 gear levels, 1 point of crit is worth more than 1 point of spell damage? I thought it was an issue of magnitudes (i.e., 1 crit = 1.15 spell damage for my stats) but 20 crit and 23 spell damage come out to the same value in "damage" using that conversion. However, when I change the 23 spell damage food to the 20 spell crit one in "Gear/Buffs" I lose something like 10 DPS. I feel like I'm missing something in how this is calculated.

(The 20 spirit where missing from the 20 crit food, but this does not change a lot the issue)
Yes, the spreadsheets computes your personnal dps, but with the "Raid TNS" options it adds the raid dps gain to the crit/hit/haste values. Crit is worth 1.15 dmg raid-wise, but switching from 23 dmg to 20 crit food will make you lose some personnal dps.

Is there some way to turn this off just for reference (or possibly a listing of my personal TNS values)?

few errors that i found when calculating...
Hood of the Malefic is 63 Spell damage not 68,
also the Vindicator's Pendant of Conquest gives you errors when you try and use this for calculations
Thanks

This is very nice btw though

I changed the value of heroism to be relative to the length of the fight (replace 600s with the OOM time). This helps detail the increasingly dramatic effect of a heroism on shorter fights, however, will have the opposite effect on 10+ minute fights (rare, I know). Can you implement a more elegant solution, perhaps with the option of receiving multiple heroisms?

Replace L95 with "=IF(B95,30*DPS!L5*ROUNDUP(DPS!J11/600,0)*40/DPS!J11,0)".

Couldn't find anything solving this OpenOffice issue? Have to say Im not a genious with my new pc and 2 day old OOo..
But like Raugturi says, I too am unable to load the different preset gearsets, it gives me the error:
BasicProviderImpl::getScript: no script!
Only thing I changed in the program was to allow using macros, so perhaps there's something I missed? Any way around the error?

If I switch to any of the necklaces that have sockets, the spreadsheet computes errors permanently from that point on, using Excel 2007. (using 2.2 version of the sheet) All the other item slots seem to work great when changing the gear around on the Gear_Buffs tab.

I downloaded version 2.3 today, and I'm getting a runtime error 1004 whenever I try to sort items. Also, it doesn't seem to be saving item sets (using Excel 2000).
