It's ForteXorcist. If you like the bars (around his character) but don't like that "countdown" bar above his spells on the middle-right side of his screen (or a bloated config menu), Classtimer will get you the same thing.

Guardians: I see that the simulationcraft thread recommends different guardians for different specs (using infernal for demo, doomguard for affliction). But I see no notes or reasons on the OP here as to which choice/why. It seems that this would help complete your wonderful guide.

Succubus is best Pet DPS for Affliction with Glyph of Lash of Pain... but would Felhunter allow for better overall DPS by replacing Glyph of Lash of Pain with Glyph of Corruption?

Why are not many people mentioning putting SB on the target even with the Desto build..

I would think that 5% crit would affect Corrupton, Imm as well as spells and thus become a priority. you only have to refresh periodicly and that can replace an incinerate while hasted from conflag.

Thoughts......

This variations are very close in DPS for my gear (which is not the best to be honest)... But the proc may come very often or just didn't happen as much as you want. That makes great difference and may result in lower numbers. So I will be careful in comparison of overall DPS here

Anyway i think felhunder will return to us at lvl 85 raiding. Dark Arts make it's bites stronger and has no effect for succubus

Unrelated question, (previously asked but skipped over it seems) would 2/3 Bane 3/3 SnF be better than vice versa for BiS gear? I'm currently 1 piece shy of full BiS and am curious if having 1526 haste unbuffed would trump 3/3 Bane for Affliction.

A snapshot is taken of your current stats and applied to the guardian when summoned, this is used as the base for them. They also receive all buffs that are available when summoned, so this would include Heroism / Bloodlust if active.

Trying Demo and Aff. on the Melee target dummy in Argent Tournament ground (so I get the below 25% rotation) I'm doing almost 5k more dps as Aff. compared to Demo(15-16k vs 10-11k). Is this really normal or am I doing something horribly wrong as Demo? I'm following the priority list in the OP.

The 5% crit should be taken care of by a fire mage via their Improved Scorch talent.

Hey guys, I know this doesn't directly relate to warlocks specs in general, but if you are an engineer, a guildie confirmed to me last night before our raid that the "tinkers" such as nitro boots, haste gloves, and parachute cloak are not considered enchants, so you are able to get 28 spell power along with 240 haste to gloves, tuskar's vitality or icewalker AND nitro boots to boots, and if you happen to be a tailor, Lightweave embroidery PLUS the 27 spell power and parachute cloak enchants. I'm not sure if this is intended or if it is a bug, I'll do a bit more reading to see if anyone has posted about it.

Well you would be doing zero damage while casting SB twice to get up SE. If you open with Corruption and UA you can benefit from the damage you are doing with them and when you get SEx3 your Corruption will update itself on the next tick.

Yeah but what if you happen to in a raid with out a fire mage? I can't see why you wouldn't wanna include it then.

I was wondering if the imp glyph really was better than incinerate for destro so I looked at our log tonight for BQL.

My unglyphed incinerate did 1,369,014 damage. A 5% increase of that would add 68,450 damage.
My glyphed imp's firebolt did 608,748 damage. A 20% decrease would remove 121,749 damage.

I'm not a math-wiz so if this a dumb way to compare I apologize. But it seems clear that the imp glyph is the better one.
