Say it scales with raid buffs and your own critical rating, will this make it a better pet compared to Imp?

I believe a buffed warlock has about 22%-23% critical chance on average in raids.

Why is this

action.incinerate.cast_time

present in this line

soul_fire,if=buff.improved_soul_fire.remains<(cast_time+travel_time+action.incinerate .cast_time+gcd)&!in_flight

of destruction profile action priority list, what benefit does this bring?

It's checking that casting an incinerate (the longest cast a destro warlock does other than hardcast Soul Fire) wouldn't allow the Improved Soul Fire buff time to fall off. Without it, the Soul Fire you cast to refresh the buff very likely wouldn't ever benefit from the buff.

Not 100% sure on it but since Fel Spark has a pretty low chance to proc, should "fel_flame,if=buff.tier11_4pc_caster.react&dot.immolate.remains<8" not be put below "conflagrate" on the destruction action priority list?
Working by my theory of you'd gain more DPS delaying fel spark because overall in a fight you'd get more conflags in and the same amount of fel flames (casting fel flames while conflag being off CD would mean less overall of course)

Anyway I hope that makes sense, at least it did in my mind.

After downloading the latest simcraft I noticed the destro_372 profile had 2432 haste, only 157 haste removed from gaining another immolate tick.
I switched both bracers and boots enchant with 50 haste and added 3 reckless ember topaz in the place of 3 brilliant inferno ruby`s.
here are my results:
Unedited destro _ 372 profile : 27180 dps
2592 haste Destro_372 profile: 27507 dps
Both profiles were built with 10000 iterations, 450 seconds combat duration and varying length by 20%.

Yeah - there's better ways to get to the haste threshold, too. A mistake was made when transferring the PTR profiles to live chardev imports, it'll be fixed as soon as I have time to regenerate the OP.

If that's the case, then this function "+gcd" in that line is clearly not needed.

Is the Succubus currently simming as it would on live? in the Demo 372 profile I am only seeing an 18% crit rate. As far as I can tell through my own testing, it should be correctly scaling with the summoners crit rate and HoG.

I think the pet calculations might need to be re-examined - in our raid last night, succubi were solidly outdpsing destro lock imps, by a consistent 700-1200 dps, on Argaloth and all of BWD save Nefarian.

Our raid is not the best geared, and we were missing the Demo pet buff, but we are all fairly equivalently geared. Two destro locks with imps, two aff locks with succubi. Normal modes.

I cannot link our WoL parse because they are private, unfortunately. Public logs with aff locks or anyone else using succubi are in short supply at the moment. If anyone has one, please speak up.

Confirm tested today in raid succy now has nearly same crit chance as the imp.

Yes, if the succubus now scales with our crit the way the other pets do, that makes her the best pet for demo and affliction, beating the imp by 200-300 DPS in both cases.

Just a quick note. Upon importing my armory profile and skimming through it i noticed following line:

off_hand=dungeoneering_guide,ilevel=346,quality=rare,stats=116hit_168int_107mastery_252sta,enchant=100int

The 100int enchant was nerfed to be a 40int enchant in 4.0.6, so either you forgot to adjust that or you adjusted it but left the original "name" for some legacy purposes. I don't know which is the case here, but it just looked odd, so I thought i should point it out.

PS. I am using 406-1-win32 version of simcraft on "live" option selected, if that matters.

Here's my guild's logs from last night, linked straight to overall damage done. The Aff Lock is me, Nook.

For reference, my crit rate was around 18% raid-buffed. Succy appears to be doing around 25% for the night.

My own (destro) logs don't agree with this, showing a 8-8.5% increase in the average tick, so I doubt it, unless it's a EU-only problem...
