For what I know, Crystallized Firestone (looted on heroic fireland bosses) will allow players to upgrade trash loots and valor vendor items to heroic.

Not all the valor items are on the vendor, it is pretty much just the wand and the trash drops. Not only that but Rune of Zeth is neither of those it is a reputation item. Also I am pretty sure it isn't BiS or even good, my calculations have it as being around even with heroic bell. 20 More crit but the on use averages worse slightly than bells proc. Perhaps if you paired it with Doom every minute (which would require not refreshing with < 15 seconds left) you could increase its value.

Zawalke. Just a question regarding the gear profile, I see you are using the 397 gloves making u having to use the tier legs, I had approximately 110 more DPS changing those 2 and simulating this. However I dont see why u have like 200 more int in your profile than in mine, I guess I missed something or went for too many bonuses.

Two reasons why my profile has more int than yours: Mine gems exclusively for int, plus mine has two int-based profession bonuses while yours has tailoring which is proc-based.

But you're right, it seems like the destruction profile can gain a little more than 100 DPS by using tier gloves instead of legs. I'll keep that in mind when I do my next optimization pass, which will be as soon as we know for sure whether or not the heroic versions of the various rep/valor stuff are actually going to be in-game.

Due to the increasing influence of various rating caps/thresholds, I've decided to change the way I evaluate trinkets in the OP. Depending on spec and gear level the value of each trinket can be strongly influenced by whether or not reforgeable stats let you hit some important stat threshold. This made the old charts inherently flawed, which turned out to be particularly problematic in this upcoming tier where several of the raid-level caster trinkets do not have reforgeable stats.

From now on the trinket evaluation charts will only take into account each trinket's dynamic proc, and will ignore any passive stats or ratings present on the item. Combining those results with scale factors and a knowledge of hit cap and haste thresholds should allow for much more informed trinket choices than the flawed information from the previous charts.

The Affliction chart is already in the OP, the other two specs' charts will populate as soon as the simulations have finished.

For easy comparing of passive stats and dynamic proc's you could just display dps that comes directly from trinket proc's, ea. do the math for us and subtract Warlocks_Spec_T12H from every value in that table.

Is it determined if Moonwell is mastery or int on-use?

If it's mastery; Is it possible to SimCraft Demonology with lining up the trinket with Metamorphosis?

It is mastery, and I just implemented this - the proc seems to be worth about 950 DPS for demonology when lining it up with meta. It'll show up in the charts in the OP within the next 24 hours.

Thanks for all the work you're putting into this Zakalwe.

Ill bug you with a few more issues though:

In the Demonology profile your Doomguard only does about 400k damage, whereas its current state on live it does atleast 700k. You'll only get these numbers by using your Doomguard at the start of the fight when you have all procs lined up at the same time. Obviously only assumptions, but I'd imagine 4.2 BiS profile would get another 100k or so out of the Doomguard. The issue here is that you're using it after Metamorphosis ends, where all your procs and prepot are on CD - thus resulting in a 'weak' Doomguard. Is it possible to get a more accurate Sim for all specs where you pop your Doomguard after a few dots (giving Power Torrent, trinkets, lightweave and engigloves a chance to proc)? It would also be very interesting seeing Doomguard used together with the Moonwell at the start as guardians scale with mastery as well.

I've tried Sim'ing this into the latest Simcraft without any luck. By removing the 'if=buff.metamorphosis.down' and moving the summon_doomguard action just below Corruption I get about 100k more out of the doomguard compared to your profile, 260DPS in total. This still seems very low compared to actually numbers on live though.

Because it is outperformed by the non-drain profile at all gear levels and even in the heavy movement sim at this point.

I understand that but the last sim i saw it was well above demo and just a hair behind destruction making it still a viable spec for those of use who hate SB affliction.

I ran myself through SimCraft testing both Glyph of Incinerate and then Glyph of Corruption and found Corruption to be the winner. Thinking this to be a fluke, I tested it multiple times with multiple warlocks, including the T12 profile, under varying conditions and every time Corruption came out ahead.

Thoughts?
