When can we expect the Demonology thread to be updated? I'm confused at the reasons why Demo no longer uses Shadow Bolt. We just got a new spell effect for shadow bolt.

I'm a bit confused about the 4.3 Demonology stat priorities. Mastery is our strongest stat but we are required to reforge towards the haste cap first?

1) How important is it to reach this haste threshold before going for mastery as compared to just reforging for mastery?
2) Currently the WowReforge tool does not have a formula for haste. Consequently it does not reforge gear towards the haste cap correctly. Is there any other tool or method that can be used to accurately reforge gear correctly towards the hit and haste thresholds?

Wowreforge reforges taking haste thresholds into account just fine, as long as you specify the correct haste threshold yourself.

All of the respective spec guides have a different set of Haste Caps for Goblins. Considering the racial is only 1% faster spell casting, and not technically haste, eg. it wouldn't give a rogue faster energy regen. Would this still actually affect haste caps?

Yes. For casters, "haste" and "casting speed" are exactly equivalent.

"Soulswap" and "soulswap exhale" are two different GCD's, so its not possible, I think

Does Bane of Havoc still do damage if the target that has been baned is not targettable? (Not in viewing range) For example if I BoH the tentacle on Blue platform on Madness, will it be taking damage while I'm on the Red platform?

What is the most effective way of handling the Regenerative Bloods on Madness of Deathwing? Hellfire doesn't appear to proc the Spellweaving effect (or, perhaps only on the first tick, if that?). Rain of Fire felt alright at first, but I'm getting the impression that Spellweaving only procs on the cast, and not on subsequent ticks. Do we spam cast Rain of Fire? Affliction logs didn't seem to make Seed out to be effective.

Any thoughts?

Since youre most likely not talking about HC, I guess Rain of Fire is best, since it got the best chance to proc the blue-buff AoE-damage.

As demo, what is the DPS loss by not pet swapping? I simulated my dps, with and without pet swapping, and it showed a difference of 5.5k dps, can this be accurate or will i have made an error in the profile?

Quick question here, there's a spec for multi dotting as demo, and the single target with incinerate filler, but I don't get how the multi dotting is better ? in the incinerate spec you have 12% damage on corruption, the other have a glyph of corruption, it really does the difference ?

I only play demo because we need the 10% in 10man, I'll make a dual demo/demo spec with the 2 spec and switch between fights i guess...

As destro, does Shadowflame still deal more damage than incinerate/chaosbolt while Demon Soul is active?

I modeled
actions+=/shadowflame,if=!buff.demon_soul_imp.up
and got an intense 0.08% increase which is within the margin of error.

The multidotting-friendly part of the 0/31/10 spec comes form the 0.5 sec faster cast time of immolate. The bonus corruption damage of the 3/31/7 is far from capping it.

The topic has been has been addressed a few times but still not 100% clear to me, regarding horde races; does Orc give you a substantial benefit (as demo/affli) due Bloodfury + Command over the other races?

1) Currently the demonology thread says that pet twisting should only be performed when using Moonwell Chalice. Would it not be beneficial to pet twist with cunning of the cruel and will of unbinding as well (assuming 4piece t13 is equipped) ? The idea would be to finish the soul shards and then resume as normal.

2) Should Demon Soul be synced with Metamorphosis for the increased dps instead of using it on cooldown?

Will there be an updated version Dark Intent listings, mostly where it stands on Sub rogues with 2part t12 DoT included. (And if SimCraft is used, it should be noted that it calculates the 2part t12 DoT incorrectly and lists it at only 33% of its regular potential).

Is there another dps simulator except simulationcraft for warlocks? For some reason it has always been bugged in my computer and it won't run. Any other direction eould be appreciated. Thanks.

If it doesn't run on your computer, open an issue where you describe the problem in detail.

One question regarding Pettwisting as Demo:

With the 4pc t13, do you hardcast all the pets so you can use the 4pc on cooldown or do you still summon the felhoud with Soulburn?

I'm fairly certain pet twisting is no longer viable once you get 4t13 in normal circumstances.

Once you get rid of MWC you don't pet swap anymore regardless besides at the start of the fight.
