Hey Zak I mentioned a few weeks ago that lifeblood is still out of date, sent you a message, and posted on the simulationcraft forums. It's still out of date now a few weeks later.

I highly suspect that lifeblood is actually on par with the best professions with how it aligns w/cds and pre pot, either way it needs to a fix from 1920 haste to the actual 2880.

ps: the skinning bonus being fixed to 480 crit is probably out of date in the sim too.

The chaos bolt lines could probably be condensed, I just did it fast to make the list work in single target and two target. Also slight note, the current list switches to AoE prio on 3+ targets, and its a huge loss on 3, haven't checked on where the threshold actually is though.

I also got about 3-4k dps gain for demonology using Immolation Aura when DS is up, might be more conditions based on trinket usage were it is also usable, but that is dependent on gear. I put this line right after Summon Doomguard:

The sim does not appear to account for the 1% expertise (-->hit) that an orc gets while wielding a wand. I can confirm this benefit occurs in game, but not in the sim.

I have a question which I hope belongs to this thread, but I assume it does as it is Simcraft related.

Currently I am using The Klaxxi exalted sword Amber Saber of Klaxxi'vess - Item - World of Warcraft, however there is a problem with it not showing any spellpower on armory. When trying to Sim my character, I tried adding the # gear_spell_power=5152 line to the gear summary tab, which doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas as to how to bypass this issue or do I have to wait for a new weapon/Blizzard to update armory?

Replace the imported one with this line, and it should be fine. Sadly there are few more inconsistancies in my current gear for example, so you might want to double-check Your stats in results tab and add stuff that's missing on Your own.

I found a way to increase the Warlock_Affliction_T14H output by approximatly 900dps by adding the following action.

What this does is using a Soulburn:Soulswap to refresh your initial dots with empowered ones when Trinketproccs and Weaponenchantproccs occure.
It may be possible to push this even further with implementing code which forces Soulburn:Soulswap when trinketproccs and multiple dots under 50% duration concur but i'm not sure about how to implement it.

Since that was a dps increase, it's likely there are other proc situations where using a shard to refresh all 3 dots is also a DPS increase. Keep in mind you're costing yourself haunt uptime by dumping shards into SB:SS, and you def. want haunt up while your procs are going, and preferably while your proc-buffed dots are ticking. This is probably obvious to everyone in this thread.

In practice, I try to let shards build up when I don't have any procs, and I don't have super-dots ticking, so I can chain haunt when I do have procs. (I've been assuming haunt's own damage benefits from the haunt debuff, and doesn't apply the debuff before doing it's own damage. So you should try to clip haunt within the last second ideally, to benefit without losing uptime. Haunt direct damage is fairly significant when using GoSac. I suppose this is a question for a warlock mechanics thread?)

I would think you could gain significant DPS in the aff profile if you could get the sim to sit on shards when there weren't procs, and also to not always refresh dots as early as possible. Letting buffed dots tick down after dark soul, or a proc expiring, gives you more strong ticks. Also, you might get another proc before the dot actually falls off. When not hit capped, I try to refresh Agony with at least 2 GCDs left, so I don't lose the 10-stack if I miss.

Oh, another thought on non-hitcapped aff: does the sim recast MG as soon as it can? MG is a long enough channel that if you miss an MG cast while channeling MG, you probably still have time to cast another MG before your first one ends. So you can avoid losing any channel time even with a miss. This isn't needed for DS, as it's a longer channel than the the haunt debuff.

Haste weight seems to be way higher in the lastest simulationcraft, to the point where I don't know if there's a bug or something else.

I ran a quick sim to get scale factors for the 3 spec as in here : Simulationcraft Results
and I'm getting way different scale factors with rev 14502 : Simulationcraft Results

Haste jumped by 0.5 dps for affliction, and more than 1 dps for destruction and demonology, while the others stats remained the same.

Edit : It seems to be only a display error, adding 2000 haste and dividing the dps gain by it shows that haste for destruction is still at ~1.6 as before.

There's something I don't understand with the way immolate's dot is refreshed with pandemic in simulationcraft.
As I understand it, refreshing your immolate before it fades, simply adds 5 ticks for a maximum of 7 ticks, unless you have the first haste cap.

The tooltip says that it adds the previous time to the new one with a maximum of 50% of the base duration, but in-game, unbuffed with 3852 haste rating, I can never get the 8ht tick, the maximum time written being 21.xs.
3852 haste gives me 9.06%, or a time between ticks of 2.75s.
2.75*8 = 22s, which explains why I never see more than 21.xs.
In theory, if I only cast immolate on a target when there is less than 2 ticks remaining, I will always add 5*2.75 = 13.75s to it, which is exactly what I see ingame.

So simulating a warlock with only a shirt giving 3852 haste and 5100 hit, who only refreshes immolate before it fades for 600s should give us 44 immolate cast, with an average interval of ~13.8s.
But it currently simulates only 37 immolate with an average interval of 16.31s (99.8% uptime).

If I change the code to only refresh immolate when it has faded, I get 40 immolates cast, with an average interval of 15.2s, which is exactly 13.75s + immolate's cast time.

So I think that currently simulationcraft adds one tick more than what's really happening in game, at least for certain range of haste.

i have exp cause i reforge for it.
but if you remove the wand you dont lose any hit and when you put it back on you dont gain any hit nore exp.
