I was curious, do our DoT's persist on the enemies inside the Spirit world on the boss Gara'jal the Spiritbinder when we leave the spirit world or do they go away when we leave the spirit world

In addition to persisting, apparently when you're in the spirit world, your combat log won't contain the damage your raid is doing to the boss. I had one fight with guildies in LFR that they never went to the spirit world where I did to get the buff and shards. My meters showed me at the top by a good margin, but those that stayed up top had me at fifth or sixth on their meters.

This is always going to be the case with fights with various levels of phasing.

Sixty percent of the time, Ret has a twenty percent chance to work every time. Or else become a warlock.

I didn't know until recently that Doomgaurd benefits from lust now and that he has an execute like us and also that you don't need to wait for all procs to summon him because he updates dynamically. This is all true, right?
So my question is, in a fight where obviously there is no weakened/burst/important phase on boss. When is the best time to use him?
A. At the start when all your CD's/procs are up, and prepot and lust(granted your lusting at the start) or
B. At the end during execute phase, when you won't have all your procs, perhaps 2nd pot and no lust.
C. Simply do it whenever your are lusting, be it at the start or in execute or if your raid needs it on some special phase.

I tried searching for this but couldn't find any answer anywhere.
Thanks in advance.
I've only done a few rough sims, so I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seems it's better to use it with Blood Lust.

I'm confused about the second set of agony, corruption and UA show on world of logs. I'm assuming that this is the MG damage of the spell?

And a follow up: How is it possible that someone that has the same amount of MG buff uptime and a similar haste value get 50 extra ticks from his MG agony damage? I think I'm missing something

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the damage that shows up as direct dmg for agony, corruption, and UA is due to MG/DS ticks.

If two players have identical MG uptime with identical character sheet haste yet one of those players has significantly more dot ticks from MG, most likely that player had more of their uptime occur during bloodlust, darksoul, and/or times when other haste procs were active.

1) What is the official stance on hitcap? My (in game) sims over 5 minutes (mainly to account for my human error and reaction speed) has increased my DPS with putting hit up to about ~13.5%

2) Trying to find a mod that you can 'program' with all your internal cool downs and trinket procs, so you can maximize your use of haunt.

2) You could use WeakAuras, TellMeWhen, even NeedToKnow. With WeakAuras and TellMeWhen you can also use Conditions, kinda like "show Haunt when Trinket + Windsong proccs" etc.

Should I be refreshing my DOTs only on haste procs such as Dark Soul: Misery, Bloodlust, and Windsong: Haste? Do other buffs like int, sp, crit, and mastery automatically adjust the damage on DOTs for as long as the buff proc is active? Refreshing DOTs on the haste procs make sense because it adjusts the number of ticks, but I assumed other procs won't change my DOTs until I recast. Has this changed?

Self buffs do not affect already-cast DOTs. Mob debuffs do.

Orc is the best race, particularly if you are going to keep a pet out. I've heard Troll is best, or at least equal to Orc, for Affliction. And I believe Forsaken is 3rd.

Orc hands down if you use a wand for 1% hit, which I imagine will probably be hot fixed at some point.

When building my Affliction Warlock for Haste values I have been basing my builds off Binkenstein's Maths of Pandaria: DPS Caster Haste Breakpoint Cards - Blogs - Totem Spot post, but I wanted to make sure that my assumption below is correct:

Based on a 25 man Raid which includes the class(es) that add 5% spell haste, my target builds for a Gnome Warlock should be either:

12.55% (3056 Rating) or 16.65% (4717 Rating) to achieve the extra ticks as per the quick reference card.

I will be using SimC to test those values, but my question is just a reality check to make sure I am reading things correctly!
