Any update for 3.2 coming? Thanks for the hard work thus far!
Also, I'm running into an error using 3.1.3f using Excel 2007. After saving options such as much armory info, gear, glyphs, etc. and then closing the spreadsheet, upon re-opening it I get an error on the damage calculation that stems from glyph of life tap. The trace error function on the gear buffs page points to the glyph of life tap field with a #VALUE error.

Known outstanding issues with: - Empowered Imp
- ISB
- Potion injectors
- Toughness (mining)
- Master of anatomy (skinning)
- Items with the same name but different ilevel
- Distinguishing between them will screw up Armory import, not doing so will possibly screw up calculations

Excellent job on the new version! It looks much more readable and I love the new calculations page! Everything is much easier to track down now, and the numbers seem much more accurate.
Keep up the good work and I'll let you know if I find any errors!

The calculations page is still work in progress and the sheet doesn't drive from that yet. I include it so the maths etc can be reviewed as I go along. Once I have it all laid out and the numbers match I'll swap over to the mechanics/calculations method.

Duffry, your efforts are much appreciated. Thanks for inputting the time into fixing this thing.
However, here's something I found out tonight, trying to decide on which piece of 25m T9 I should go for first:
Both 25 normal and 25 heroic items share the same names, and Excel seems to either be randomly picking one of the two or always picking the Heroic version (what happened to me), which will obviously cause a discrepancy in your results and findings due to obviously higher stats from the normal pieces. I am fairly sure someone else has figured this out and reported it to you by this point, but a nice and quick fix to anyone having trouble with that is to hit the "Items" tab and modify the item names a bit. I added "H" for Heroic at the end of the heroic tier pieces I was researching, and the gear tab now picks up the items correctly.
Just thought I would share my appreciation and findings, in the hopes they are useful to someone experiencing the same problem.
Edit:
Something else that I just found out. [Lightbane Focus]/ [Chalice of Benedictus] have sockets and, although the socket is listed in the Items tab for these items, it doesn't show up in the Gear_Buffs tab - probably because the list of OHs with slots is pretty slim and it's possible nobody has added the extra rows under the OH tab before these two popped up.

Alright, quick question, browsed through and so far have not been able to find an answer. I'm using OpenOffice Calc 3.0, have set the macro settings to medium, have them enabled, everything that the page for configuring this said to do. No longer have the #MACRO?, put in my character and realm into the Armory Info tab, but whenever I click on Load Talents From Armory it does...well, nothing. As much as I'd love to put all this in by hand, could anyone enlighten me as to what I should do to fix this?

Hi,
First off thanks for all your hard work in keeping this spreadsheet going. It is much appreciated.
Just wanted to point our a small error in the Gear_Buffs sheet of the latest release. There are 3 different variants of the T9 set with differing stats based on the ilevel of 232, 245 and 258 respectively. I just wanted to point out that even though there are 2 options of Gul'dan/KT's xxx of Triumph in the drop down bar, both options have their stats pegged to the ilevel 258 variant. You may want to fix the lower option to peg to the ilevel 245 stats, since I don't think many people will be getting their hands on the ilevel 258 gear and their associated stats in the near-future.

Go into the Items tab and modify the name of either the higher or lower tier item.
I added a 2 onto the end of one the 258 versions, and now I can choose between 245 or 258 as usual on the Gear_Buffs tab.

First of all, thanks for your hard work!
I know I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't seem to get it to work;
-When I try to load my gear or talents from the armory I get Error -2147012867 (80072efd)
A connection could not be established with the server
-Many cells have either '#NAME?' written in them or '######'
I put in the correct armory info and eu.armory is up.
I'll keep browsing these forums for answers. If anyone find the solution I'd appreciate a hand!

Is your connection firewalled or are you sitting behind a proxy that requires authentication?

I have the same problem, only its the US armory, which is also up.
Any idea how to fix this?
Using Excel 2007
I am also getting a pop up warning when I open the file, about circular references.

For Excel 2007:
1 - Click the Microsoft Office Button, click Excel Options, and then click the Formulas category.
2 - In the Calculation options section, select the Enable iterative calculation check box.
The default values for Maximum iterations and Maximum change should be fine.
Perhaps this can be added to the Beginner's Guide on the Sheet Home Page?

I am currently using, t8 3p tier 2p; when I replace my t8 shoulder piece with t9 (a downgrade for sure) the dps obviously goes down. but what surprises me is when i put on tier 9 gloves over t8 (obvious upgrade) the dps still goes down. I am also losing the tier 8 2p in the process but gaining the t9 4p.
my question is, is it calculating the tier 9 4p wrong or is it giving the t8 2p to much dps?

The worksheet does not calculate the t9 bonuses, that is why it goes down.

Anyone know if anyone has put in the t9 2pc/4pc values yet? Atm im just going off the basis that if my dps is within 220~ with my 2pc on of what i had with previous pieces then the 2pc is worth it.

i just did some item switching around and it seems like the bonuses are not implemented. having 4pc tier 9 and switching gloves to t8 is a 100 or so dps upgrade somehow

Pretty sure he said that the t9 bonuses have not been implemented in the spreadsheet yet. Anecdotally, I can say it is a most definite upgrade in dps from t8 to t9, both 2 and 4 piece.
