OK I've been playing with pets most of today and have made little progress because there doesnt appear to be any sound information on how stats affect them. Supposedly stam*.3 is supposed to be added to the pets stam, but I am unable to see this occur on the pets stats. The +Green number never matches the number that the tooltip on your own stats says should occur. This is also seen for Pets AP; the amount that a pet should be gaining based on your spellpower doesn't match the +green AP on the pets stats screen. For an imp, felhunter, and succubus this number is less than the amt expected. For a voidwalker it's significantly greater.

I need people to try verify my conclusions and point to reasons why seeing as how I cant find anything on this on wowwiki.

I'm seeing the same thing. The stam and attack power numbers are inconsistent. It could be that each pet can have its own coefficient that modifies how much of each stat it gets and that these numbers simply do not reflect the tooltips on the character stats.

Well, I decided to take a crack at writing a guide to the spreadsheet myself. Again, I'm not particularly good at explaining these sorts of things. So, please feel free to improve on what I have here. If you take the file and alter it, I ask that you change the version and put your name on it so we can keep some sort of version control.

Under Metagems, Ember Skyflare Diamond is listed twice and one of them only has 14 damage instead of 25.

I think there's a problem in the formula on the "items" tab in column T. When turning the "ignore after cap" option, the formula is having trouble when the item has nothing in the cell. If you put in 0, the formula resolves itself. The issue is here: IF(hit_option="ignore after cap",MIN(MAX(445.91-Gear_Buffs!$J$4,0),H608)*value_hit,0).

It needs some sort of if/then looking to see if the cell in the H column is empty. I'd put something like:
IF(hit_option="ignore after cap",MIN(MAX(445.91-Gear_Buffs!$J$4,0),if(H608="",0,H608))*value_hit,0)

On the dps tab, cell N11 needs to be adjusted. This cell calcs the mana pool. According to wow wiki, the first 20 points of int each provide 1pt of mana vs 15. So, I think this cell should read:
=(base_mana+(Gear_Buffs!E4-20)*15+20+Gear_Buffs!P4)*(1+fel_vit/100)

Also, the base mana in cell L9 needs to be adjusted to 3856

On the "races" tab, for undead the base stamina needs to be 90, int should be 157 and spirit should be 171.

Load Gear from Armory does not seem to be working for leg enchants. Also, in Items, the Hit* DPS diff collumn(U) doesn't seem to be right. I believe it should be T#-ci_slot_value_nh instead of R#-ci_slot_value_nh. Though, I'm not sure how that would work out for each option. Lastly, Gnome base stats are 161 int, 88 stam, and 166 spirit before any modifiers.

I'm looking through the immolate spell calcs in B73 on the "dps" tab. I'm doing this because this calc'd value is materially off of what I've been seeing on a practice dummy as a 55/0/16 lock. Here are a couple of observations:

1. Is the base damage for the direct damage portion correct? I think it should be 460.
2. Is the base damage in the DoT portion correct? I think it should be 785.
3. The imp stuff in the direct damage calc...I can't quite figure this out. Is it asking if you have master demonology before doing those calcs?
4. I don't understand the multiplier on fire and brimstone-related additional spell damage. What's the .347 on the direct damage part and the .653 on the DoT part?

It seems to put the gems into the enchantment-slot. [Runed Scarlet Ruby] was in there instead of [Brilliant Spellthread].

Hyperspeed Accelerators - Spell - World of Warcraft doesn't seem to be implemented as a hand enchant yet.
It gives you an average +haste rating of 28.3333, but has a use-function for the right situations and will be buffed with 3.0.8 (duration increased from 8 to 10 seconds).

Still an amazing spreadsheet!

Not sure if it's a bug, but:

Putting points into Improved DS seems to be increasing my DPS on the sheet significantly. Like, by 200-300DPS. My best guess is that it's using reduced threat as the validation, but I can't quite tell.

Tastes like Awesome, because it's made of Awesome(TM)

The human spirit racial bonus should now be only 3%. It still has 10% in the formula.

There doesn't seem to be a way to add blacksmith sockets to your wrists and gloves.

It would make it easier to use the items tab as a shopping list if the sources of the gear could be added as a column. What's the source of the data in this table btw? Are you downloading this from somewhere or hand-typing?

It would be nice to add the ferocious inspiration raid buff (+3% damage)...didn't see this one. In general, it's perhaps worth revisiting how the buffs come into the calcs given the new system of non-stacking buffs. Is there a way to organize these by categories?

Right now my spreadsheet ceases to work properly (#N/A errors everywhere) if I import gear from Armory. It appears to be an issue with the spreadsheet trying to VLOOKUP gems under leg_enchants instead of gems. Individually changing each cell to the appropriate tab seems to work.

Question: Are the tier set piece bonuses being calculated for T7? Just making sure that my calculations are correct as currently I'm showing that upgrading my robe to T7 (even just the heroes) to get 2 piece set bonus is a DPS increase (easiest piece for me to get since I'm almost close to getting it with badges) but then after that trying to get 4 piece set bonus is actually a dps decrease for me given the pieces of gear I currently have. I expected that replacing either my gloves or my legs without first having both would be a dps decrease but I was expecting that if I upgraded them both to set pieces I would see at least a minor increase but that does not seem to be the case no matter if I get Heroes or Valorous. I actually end up with a pretty significant decrease. Is the 4pc t7 really that bad or is it not being calculated yet?

I do not see Tier 7 on the Advanced infos tab. I am assuming that neither the 2 pc. or 4 pc. set bonuses are being calculated, is this correct?

Actually he is right, and its also odd that you all reported him till he was banned.

At the time of posting some of the scaling factors had spell power up to 5x better than spirit. Its calmed down now and its more like 2-3x better. You can see pretty good scaling factors at the SimulationCraft project.

I did a couple fixes, you can include them in your next version if you want.

- Really fix crit from Int calculations. (Warlocks have 1.7% base spell crit)
- Use exact values for ratings required for 1% crit, hit, and haste
- Armory Import: Fixed Eternal Belt Buckle Gem
- Armory Import: Fixed Legs Feet Enchant Gems
- Armory Import: Fixed Non-Perfect version gems detected as Perfect version
- Gems: Added Glowing Twilight Opal, Reckless Huge Citrine, Purified Shadow Crystal
- Trinket Calculation: Extract of Necromatic Power proc dps
- Updated level 80 base stats for all 5 races
- Items: Improve readability
- Items: Fixed weapon dps sorting
- Items: Hit Option: Ignore after cap: Fixed Value and DPS diff so that it actually works
- Items: Hit Option: Ignore after cap: You can now set the cap% yourself
- Items: Shawl of the Old Maid gives 39 spirit, even though it says +38 spirit

Demonic Soul uptime calculation: Filler_Frequency = Filler_Cast_Time / Filler_Ratio
CI = Corruption and Immolate ticks per sec (depends on if you use it in your rotation)
Demonic Soul uptime = 1 - (1 - 0.15)^(Filler_Frequency * CI)
- Advanced infos: Fixed Dot tics per second calculation (CoA glyph and Corruption with Everlasting Affliction)
- Gear_Buffs: Imp Moonkin Aura doesn't give spell power
- Armory Import: Fixed meta gems VBA code
- Gems: Added most spell power and crit meta gems and a None value, this should fix some Armory Import N/A
