Not quite sure if this has been posted yet, but didn't see it here.
If your empowered imp procs and gives you the buff, if you start casting Rain of Fire, it uses the buff in the beginning of channeling which doesn't do any dmg at all yet.
Laztal's Firebolt hits Grandmaster's Training Dummy for 1 Fire.(1077 Overkill) (Critical)
Sonicator gains Laztal's Empowered Imp.
Sonicator gains Sonicator's Rain of Fire.
Laztal's Empowered Imp fades from Sonicator.
Grandmaster's Training Dummy is afflicted by Sonicator's Rain of Fire.
Sonicator gains 0 Health from Sonicator's Fel Armor.(509 Overhealed)
Sonicator's Rain of Fire hits Grandmaster's Training Dummy for 1 Fire.(1861 Overkill)
Sonicator's Rain of Fire fades from Sonicator.
Sonicator's Rain of Fire dissipates from Grandmaster's Training Dummy.
Happens every time.
Oh, and the drain soul bug still continues in this patch, easily sightable with dotimer or similar you can check when the length isn't the same but has 0.3 sec difference.
Might upload pics later.

A thought on this subject just hit me this morning. Does anyone think that this could be related to the change to prevent totem stomping macros? GC recently posted that the dev team was okay with hoverover pet attack macros for totem stomping. I wanted to post the idea here in case someone could try it out before I can test it next week.

No, that's probably not the case, considering on XT you're telling your pet to assist you, not target an arbitrary object.
If I'm not wrong, your pet should have no problem killing a totem you're already targeting.

Not that anyone's having trouble with xt after the nerf, but I confirmed tonight that the following macro did allow my pet to attack the heart in xt. Placing my pet on defensive also worked, whereas pet attack while the pet was on passive did not.
/cast [pet:Imp,target=mouseover] Firebolt

Pets can't jump?
Im only having a single issue atm and thats the fact my pets (imp) wont follow me after a bigger drop (the drop after phase 1 on Thorim, the drop down to Gluth and the jump to Thaddius)
now i know that this may not be the biggest issue since i guess for most locks loosing the imp on Gluth and Thaddius is not that relevant! But on Thorim this is REALY bugging me because im trying the hardmode whit my guild at the moment, and loosing the imp sucks!
as you may have guessed im running 0/13/58 so i don't have neither fel domination or master summoner so wasting 10sec and mana on getting him back sucks aswell!
am i alone in having this problem and if so what can i do to fix it

Spam your "follow" and attack button (ctrl 1 ctrl 2 ctrl1 ctrl2) etc, and it should eventually "teleport" to you. If this doesn't work, cast eye of kilrog and dismiss it, Your imp will teleport near you.

Her suggestion for the time being was to completely wipe my UI (delete my cache and Interface folders as well as the WTF folder). This fixed the problem.

I also had this occur a couple weeks ago. I tried every logical way to try and get him to attack, (switching from defensive, aggr, passive, macros, resummoning, summoning diff pets, etc. etc.) Opened a ticket, GM responce in 2 mins. Told me to have a player kill my Imp in a dual. Tried that about 10 different times, didnt work at all. I then had the GM take control of my player, and he discovered that he had to have a mob kill my Imp for me to resolve the issue.
For what it's worth, this bug occurred after i changed my spec from 0/13/58 to 3/14/54.
Hope this helps someone if Blizz hasnt resolved the issue yet, as I havent been able to duplicate it since that day.

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Couldn't find this using search, so I thought I'd see if any other warlocks are having this issue. On Freya hard mode it has been changed to allow any ability that breaks snares to break Strengthened Iron Roots. Demonic teleport is one of the abilities that explicitly says it breaks snares, so it should be an incredibly useful ability on Freya HM. Unfortunately when the other warlock and I have used demonic teleport to break the snare we have noticed the following:
- Roots cast on you.
- Teleport away to break roots.
- Roots continue to damage you until you kill them, but you can move freely.
You teleport away but the roots stay there, whereas if you use a PVP trinket the snare is broken and roots despawn. Is anyone else having this issue, or are you already just using a PVP trinket like [Titan-Forged Rune of Audacity] to make the roots a trivial addition to the encounter?

The last time I tested this in 3.2, trinkets and Every Man For Himself worked as expected. Using teleport did put distance between me and the roots, but I was still taking damage and stuck in place, despite having teleported to a new location. After teleport, roots still had to be killed before I could move freely. Definitely a bug to me - either teleport out of roots shouldn't work, or it should break the snare completely.
This was before the very latest patch (3.2.0a) and I do know that, in 3.2.0a, they fixed at least one aspect of Freya hardmode (the hard-to-see light beams) so it's possible that they fixed the roots/teleport issue as well.

This was still an issue as of last week when the lights were fixed. I was hoping they had fixed the roots issue as well.

I have had this happen to me twice. Once in a naxx 25 and once in a heroic. I submitted multiple tickets to the GM. I tried forcing him to attack, re summoning him, re specc'ing, summoning alternative pets and summoning him again, resetting my UI, etc. Nothing worked. I eventually just logged out and in until it (eventually) fixed itself. Haven't had the problem in about a week or so. I must have submitted 6 tickets regarding this. It has only happened to 1 other warlock that I know on my server.

May be a graphic bug, but not removing the roots is "working as intended". Roots are just that, a root. Teleport doesn't remove roots only snares. If you teleport on Thorim with a Frost Nova on you, you'll still have the Nova on you in the Demonic Circle.

I can confirm it with my own data.

Was wondering whether any of you had encountered bugs concerning the imp at the Algalon encounter. Tried him last week for the first time and on 2 pulls my imp despawned as the encounter was started and on the remaining ones my imp was oom after doing 3-5 casts. Not exactly sure if I am overlooking someting or whether it was a bug. Any suggestions are appreciated

Make sure your imp is inside the big circle on the floor when you start the encounter.

I spoke to a GM today over the t9 4-piece bonus and according to him they are aware of it and will make it interact the same way the t8 2-piece do with conflag.
Jaraxxus aoe that goes off if incernate flesh isnt dealt with isnt tagged as aoe when it comes to pets 75% aoe damage-reduction is another bug and is also on the "to fix list".

Make sure to turn off auto-cast of fire shield. I found my imp spamming that and going oom quite fast.
And as above poster stated, make sure its not too far out on the perimeter of the boss area.

Eye of Kilrogg taunts. Sort of.
Try targetting a random mob about 40 yards away, cast Eye of Kilrogg- stop casting, and watch it aggro you. Now go do a random heroic, wait until the first boss. Stand 30 or 40 yards away as the tank gets a large lead on aggro, cast eye of kilrogg- watch the boss running for you.
Mind you, it only transfers aggro, it does not appear to transfer threat.

Last night while we were practising on heroic25 Anub'Arak I noticed my Demonic Pact wouldnt proc even though pet was critting almost 30% of his attacks. First time it procced on most tries it was when the boss was moved away from the ice/raid.
Im not sure what actually caused this but as far as I know there shouldnt be any buff that wouldnt let Demonic Pact proc.
Anyone else have noticed similar problems getting Demonic Pact to proc?

This bug has been reported before: here
Easiest solution until it's fixed (if that will ever happen?) is removing your Prayer of Spirit before each try and asking a priest to buff Divine Spirit on you instead.

(Normal ping, no noticeable lag)
Decimation effect is lagging several seconds behind when my Shadow Bolt hits Gorehowl (ToC10); haven't noticed this on any other boss.
When any priest casts PW:S my demon's abilities go on GCD. What's more, when Jaraxxus was being pulled, a priest cast two PW:S, causing my imp to aggro him (the imp hadn't cast a single Firebolt yet).
