As for the meta, its not a really big problem since you have the prismatic belt socket
So if you dont have the second blue socket (worst case, but as far as I've seen the ulduar items, there will mostly be a second one in your gear), you could drop one of those +6 stamina bonuses or whatever on your items to get the meta.

I was using the two purple gems as it's the most conservative choice and still beats out the MH+OH. In my spreadsheet I do have two Runed Scarlet Ruby's in there.

I do. That said, my meta doesn't ask for blue gems either. This staff is loot from a hard mode boss, I'd bet some other one will drop a 1 hander that will put MH/OH to the top again.

That staff also looks like it'll be BIS for disc priests. MH/OH is obviously going to better in the end like it always is for locks.

You can do this yourself by taking the weights given by the simulcraft thread. What does this have to do with the 3.1 patch? As to your question, burning mysteries is better, you should be getting your hit rating from elsewhere.

No, because it depends entirely on if you're hit-capped or not.

You can answer that question yourself (and you should) by using Bakka's spreadsheet.

Could some kind warlock who was on the PTR let me know what the debuff name/spellID is which is applied to a mob when you hit it with an Improved Shadow Bolt? Is it (still) Shadow Mastery? (Shadow Mastery - Spell - World of Warcraft) TIA.

The debuff is called Shadow Mastery, don't know the spellId though.

That is a real shame. I am having little trouble keeping my FG alive up to Thorim at least, and I always run Soul Link. If the healing is cut in half with 2/2 Fel Synergy that may no longer be the case.

Hey dem.

Assuming your ret paladin judges light, your fg should be largely invincible while on the boss. Fel synergy isn't anywhere near the same healing as JoL outside of aoe situations.

This is only a tooltip fix. The actual heal has been 15% since 3.1 went live.
