Build is doing something I haven't had to do before, and go into the gear page and hit load from armory rather than doing from the main page. most fields have #N/A in them, and gear is iffy to load at all, giving errors quite a few times before loading. Glyphs and Talents load fine. Does this for both your sample character, my character (Shumski - Blackrock) and a few others. Used to do this after a save or close, but now does it with a fresh copy it appears. Please let me know if I am wrong. Thank you for your work and efforts into this speadsheet btw, well done work in general!

These items are the two caster cloaks that drop off of Ahune during the Midsummer Fire Festival: Cloak of the Frigid Winds and Shroud of Winter's Chill.

Work has begun on the web based tool. It's going to start out very basic once it gets going and won't act as a full replacement to the spreadsheet until more features are implemented.

If you'd like to help in getting this off the ground and are an experience web developer (AJAX / Javascript) please let me know.

I won't have many updates aside from this post until there major milestones are completed.

Is anyone else experiencing dps numbers that are way off the spreadsheet? My numbers for demonology seem so exaggerated that I can't really imagine how I should reach this, maybe there's something miscalculated. I'm always at least 1000dps behind in a fight like Saurfang. I'm not begging for handholding here, but I used other spreadsheets for other classes and they always seemed to be pretty accurate, so I'm a bit helpless here. I mean demonology is not that hard to play...

It may not be that hard to play however there is an art to perfection. Are you using Metamorphosis at exactly the right times? Are you prepotting? Are you Wild Magic potting during Blood Lust? Are you ensuring Metamorphosis is used after Bloodlust and the Wild Magic potion expire? There are many factors that can affect the maximum theoretical DPS.

Remember that the spreadsheet calculates the absolute maximum DPS attainable by the given gear assuming you have 0 reflex time, a perfect raid and you do everything perfectly and at exactly the right moment.

As Vidiz just said it's your theoretical DPS.

-It doesn't factor in reaction time or latency.
-It also calculates best case scenario.
-It also doesn't factor in things like Molten Core proccing during your Shadowbolt cast.

When the new web version of DPS calculation is working I'll focus more on getting the numbers accurate.
