I'm not sure, I just recently got
http://www.wowhead.com/item=61344
and a claws of agony in the offhand, however for some reason, it has less dps than every other weapon in the same ilevel bracket. normally I would just pick up a fist weapon and forget about it, but I'm a gnome, and I get 3 expertise from using it, so it seems like a decent trade off.
Why tho, does a sword have less damage than a fist?

If I'm recalling correctly, that sword just has a smaller damage range than the other weapons. Its DPS is exactly the same.

So I really haven't been able to find a clearcut answer to this question - if I take off all my gear, I have 0% hit displaying on my character sheet, as fury. With my gear on, do I want my character sheet to say 5% hit, or 8% hit, for optimal dps/ensuring I will never miss a yellow attack?

Well be more specific. Are you talking about the armory character sheet or the in game one? Im guessing your talking about the armory because you cant have 0% hit as fury on the character sheet in game. So in game it should say 8% and 5% on the armory.

Well, actually, I was talking about in-game, and you can have 0% hit in-game on your character sheet. Here, look:
Geared Hit: http://3mb.us/images/391_GearedHit.jpg
Naked Hit (0%): http://3mb.us/images/529_NakedHit.jpg
In my full gear, I have just over 5% hit on my in-game character sheet. Naked (well, "naked" here meaning "not wearing any items with durability or hit on them"), I have 0% hit on my in-game char sheet. Should the number, while geared, be 5% or 8% to avoid missing any yellow attacks?

8% ingame, you can see your chance to miss hovering over hit chance ingame.
The reason it shows 0% with no gear is precision requires a melee weapon

I just got sufficient commendations for Impatience of Youth. I'm Arms and currently using Right Eye of Rajh and Magnetite Mirror. Is Impatience worth it as an upgrade? If so, which of my current trinkets should I drop?
Thanks.

REoR is a good trink until you replace it in raids, or with LtS (depending on what your other trinket is).
Magnetite mirror and IoY are about equivalent (IoY has a higher Strength proc), so it really comes down to whether you NEED the expertise or the mastery.
Truthfully, with arms, you shouldn't have an Expertise shortage.

My Question: is it worth picking some racial passive expertise increases above a weapon not granting this passive bonus? actual, assuming that 30.0272 expertise rating is needed for a point of expertise, 3 expertise from a passive will free you 90 points of any rating on your weapons.
More concrete: is Dwarf Warrior Mastery Heavy]chardev 8 - WoW Cataclysm more effective than the current BiS displayed using Ashkandi.
In Stats, the difference is
1578 mastery
2131 crit
916 hit
583 haste
9873 ap
vs non-racial-bis
1210 mastery
2367 crit
847 hit
583 haste
9669 ap

Looking to solo old world content. Which spec is the way to go? I've heard fury does very well. Are there any specs around?
I came up with Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft but its just a shot in the dark.

What Spec
I have tried a few different warrior specs TG, SMF and some arms specs. Can anyone tell me what seems to be pulling ahead for doing the most dps for raiding? Arms or Fury TG,SMF.
I see Landsoul and a few others are switching for SMF to Arms.

To be honest, play whatever spec you find the most fun or whatever spec provides a raid buff your raid is missing. They are all close enough (~400 dps) that whatever spec you are most comfortable playing is the spec you'll pull the most dps as. In a purely min-max situation Arms will pull ahead next patch with the mastery buff and the added ease to stance dancing.

Having issues
Ive been having issues with holding aggro in the beginning with big mobs (3+). Here is my rotation (Charge, Rend(have it macroed together), Thunderclap, Shockwave, Cleave + Revenge, Thunderclap (to re-apply rend). Its only in the beginning when I lose threat I dont know if people just dont figure that warriors need a second to collect aggro or if im just doing something wrong.

I don't really see anything wrong. Thats pretty much what I do and I do not have issues holding aggro unless DPS are being overzealous or not attacking the right target. I like to use Heroic Throw before charging though, this could maybe help you a bit, especially against casters because of the silence debuff it applies (Gag Order).
I go like this: Heroic Throw, Charge, Rend, Cleave, Thunder Clap, Shockwave, Inner Rage and then I just start the Single Target rotation while spamming Cleave and Thunder Clap here and there. No big maths here, it's just the rotation I found worked great for me and I very rarely lose aggro. Hope this helps.

For AoE tanking you should be using Thunderclap on cooldown, not just to re-apply Rend. How are you specced? Thunderstruck will help a bit with AoE threat.
