I've got a quick question regarding my Trinket choices as a Protection Warrior for Dragon Soul hard modes. I'm at about 93% CTC with raid buffs. I'm using Soulshifter Vortex as well as Mirror of Broken Images. I find the mirror invaluable in encounters such as Madness and Zonozz, and I see a top of top guilds' tanks still using it.
I also own Veil of Lies and Resolve of Undying.
My question is: Should I be replacing the mirror, and if so, at what point into the patch should I?

Use different trinkets depending on the fight.
Also, Soulshifter Vortex is fairly bad for prot warriors, because most of the proc will be wasted when you're so close to the block cap already.

Arms has always been viable, but Fury was just "more optimal." Now that fury has been nerfed, several top end warriors have switched to arms which raised the average skill level between the logged arms warriors. Thats why it almost looks like arms got a buff.

Overpower during Deadly Calm
I wonder what the optimal rotation during deadly calm is.
Of course you will use it when CS is available and use CS, MS and HS on CD. But what about the priority of slam and OP during DC? Since Overpower costs only tiny amounts of rage, the rage saved by DC is less then if slam was used. Slam has a higher base damage but OP compensates with it´s high crit chance. It will surly depend on the characters equipment, but considering T13N Gear, I am unsure if to use OP during DC or just spam slam, if MS and CS are on CD.
Thanks

No, OP does more damage than Slam so even if both have no rage cost OP is still better.

So, regarding Gurthalak, I already grab a bit of spell penetration (170) in PvP so the tentacles do about 2-3k more damage per tick and I was wondering if this is viable at all in PvE. I'm using 2 Gurthalak's as well if that brings any additional value in terms of the 2% proc chance.

I just turned 85 (12/12/11) and leeched myself through those twilight heroics as MS/Weapon specc.
Now I'm at Itemlevel 374 and can start to raid with the raidfinder. While with MS specc I normaly did around 18k-25k DPS in a heroic instance. For Dragonsoul is specct fury 'cause friends told me it should do more damage than MS.
So i respecct and... yeah it went bad. *g*
Around 12k-15k DPS on every boss with full support,
My questions are:
1.
Bloodthirst --> Raging Blow --> Bloodthrist --> Free GCD (C. Slam > Slam) --> Bloodthrist
This the right rotation to use? And what about below 20%? Spam execute or only use it to hold the hastebuff up?
2.
Stats (for Fury):
8% Hit > 26 expertise > crit > 17% Hit > Haste > Mastery
Stats (for MS):
8% Hit > 26 Expertise > Crit > Mastery > Haste
Is this legit? Found it on a thread on some fansite.^^
3. Or is Ms simply better for the beginning?
Sorry for my bad english, it'S already late.^^

'one touch' macros and fury spec.
Ok, so....
I'm currently playing as titangrip fury spec, and i don't mind admitting that, compared to others, my DPS is somewhat lacking.
while higher than i have had it often before, it currently sits at about the 15-20k mark most of the time, which i am told is... poor, to say the least.
it has been suggested that i look into using macros to help up my dps output, and one player i was in a 'hour of twighlight' with recently used the term 'one touch macro' ... which i am guessing is one that holds a fair section of the rotation a character would use.
while i do not usually use macros, i am willing to look into them to help my efficiency in heroics and raids.
so basically, i was wondering if anyone could suggest some effective macros for a titangrip fury warrior.
thanks in advance for any productive responses.

I'm sorry, I don't believe there is such a thing (at least no viable one) for PvE content.

Few questions about Arms AoE during Yorshaj HC:
1. TC, with Blood and Thunder; Do we use TC on CD or wait for rend to finish ticking?
2. WW, is it worth casting? (number of adds as in Yorshaj)
3. During SS, do we use cleave (glyphed) or HS? Do we use TC?

1. You use it on CD, the damage from TC itself plus that extra tick from Rend on every mob will result in highest damage per GCD of your abilities (~10k per mob, the other abilities are at about 35k-40k, so it's worth on 4+ mobs). If you use Sweeping Strikes only the TC-portion will be doubled. It will be worth to use it on CD anyways (on 6+ mobs) but you may activate SS directly after TC because the gain from SS on TC is just minor compared to the other styles.
2. WW will deal ~6k per mob so it is worth to use on 7+ mobs.
3. You use Cleave because every hit from it will be doubled. You will also use TC, but you want to have as few TC as possible during SS while using it on CD.

Does anyone have an idea regarding the RF (ilvl 390) Gurthalak, is it better than the 397 Axe or the 397 Ragnaros mace? Not sure whether to use it or to stick with my 397 Experimental Specimen Slicerand H Sulfuras.

My raid is currently working on Yor'sahj heroic and I noticed that Victory Rush can proc from killing the black adds. I was wondering if VR (and enraged regen) should be used during phases where the purple adds debuff is active to help reduce the stress on healers. Does anyone know if using victory rush or enraged regen adds a stack of corruption?

Havent tested enraged regen, but i can confirm that Victory rush adds a stack, tested on 10man HC, cant back it up with a screenshot tho, so you'll have to take my word for it, doubt WoL logs that shit, but i'll check
