Is there any kind of consensus on the optimal Fury setup for when 5.0.4 goes live for the last few weeks at level 85? How does replacing Slam with Wild Strike affect the relative strength of Gurthalak? Does it make wearing two heroic Gurthalaks viable? Or does the reduced number of MH attacks and the inflated value of crit with our new Raging Blow mechanic and new Mastery make dual Slicers better than even using a single Gurthalak?

And that's not even touching the possibilities with SMF. I've seen people asking about this stuff in a few places but I really haven't seen any definitive answers or even detailed logic. I realize most people are concentrating on MoP but I'd like to get some time in Fury in our last few Dragonsoul clears. I imagine many others who are sick of playing Arms feel the same way.

According to my SimCraft numbers the best spec is TG Fury, Hit(Cap) > Exp(Cap) > Crit > Str > Mastery > Haste > Hit

(Yes this means gemming/enchanting/gearing Crit > Strength, notice I'm using a 397 ring and belt, as well as Rotting Skull over Heroic Eye of Unmaking)

Feel free to check for yourself, changing every gem can be expensive for some people.

Hi guys! Who tested the arms spec and how much dps? Please link to the logs. The last week i tested fury spec on ultraxion LFR(~52-60k dps on 30+ tries, but no have procs gurtalaks). I was found a few fury warrior tricks! The first trick - while active debuff of colossus, we can using triple RB procs(third proc we can activate RoB). The second trick - we should to have a recklessness to the phase of execute. The third trics - fury warriors have two fillers (WS and HS), I suggest an excess of rage use to BT+HS, and WS only use with procs.

What do you think about this?

Orc, because this race for fury warrior(Horde) give AP - big profit to the phase of execute.

ok so before 5.0.4 in my 25man guild run my arms warr was a beast 1st on dps on most fights...then 5.0.4 came and i getting out dps'd by a less geared warr im so confused.....does anybody have a good rotation they are following that is working well for them or a addon thats helping pull oustanding numbers in arms...thanks

Probably a really simple question- and I apologize in advance, but where can one find the stat weight of secondary stats compared to, or rather in relation to strength? Namely Crit/Haste/Mastry since for arms one would be hit/expertise capped of course. Thanks in advance!

Tried, killed. It was no brainer after 1 try...

Mastery is only useful for fights where you use Shield Block, which is fights where the bosses hit damage that can be blocked so often that Shield Block becomes better than Shield Barrier. In such fights, the only cap there might be for Mastery is when you are getting so much rage from critical blocks that you have no way of using for defense.
