Am i the only one that has strength sim higher than crit? And is Simc accurate at this point?

I think its useful for people to remember that as you increase a single stat that it's value decreases. So if you increase Hit to the hard cap and completely ignore mastery, a single point increase in mastery will be higher. On my toon which is in fair gear I'm about 1000 hit rating beyond the soft cap and my sims say hit is just a little worse than mastery. I have however noticed huge leaps in my actual dps with the improved hit beyond what I was actually expecting. If you really want to test things out grab Recount go over to the target dummy and blast away for 5 minutes or so. Then find a piece of gear with some mastery and reforge that and only that over to hit, go back to the target dummy and blast away for 5 minutes again. Compare Recount data.

If you would do this a thousand times, then it could be actually accurate and you would do what simcraft is trying to, just this live data.
A 5 minute, even a 1 hour timeframe is too low to actually measure certain % chance based reforges like crit => mastery or hit => mastery. It's more about luck than your actual reforge which did more dps, espacially when 2 stats are pretty close like over hit and mastery in this case.
@caltion: thanks, great work, looking forward to test my profile with the fix done. just saw i posted my fury profile with the raging blow pooling and it looses about 10 raging blows per fight to this bug and still sims 3k dps ahead of the provided bis profile. Should be actually about 5k dps ahead with the fix applied.
For anyone testing my profile with the bugged raging blow: you have to cut the raging blow priority to actions+=/raging_blow,if=buff.raging_blow.react or it will waste about 10 proccs by consuming 2 charges and sim 1k-2k dps lower than it should.

Tanking threat on multi-mobs
Need help with threat generation, especially multi-mobs. I seem to end up in LFG with Raiders that pull so much dps or I have so many mobs going after the healer with little or no rage to do much about it, I can't keep mobs under control. I find myself burning taunt on every CD and wishing the CD was quicker because they pull them back almost as fast as I taunt. With mutli-mobs, I try to hold them together with Cleave, Shockwave, TC, and trying to Tab through them for Devistate/Revenge, but with so many going in every direction, I can't keep up. In short, I can stay alive with little problem, but I'm having trouble keeping everyone else alive.
I changed to the Hit/Exp build and I have a bit more rage, but still things are getting too wild. Thoughts, forums to check out, anything?

You're focusing on rage, for no apparent reason. Rage should have nothing to do with your AoE aggro. TC and Revenge, that's it, just spam those two, tabbing around a bit. Don't worry about the other stuff, just focus on using those immediately on cooldown.

Point for point, strength and crit will sim pretty closely. The biggest reason warriors favor crit at the moment is because of the stat allocation of gems. Crit gems give 320 rating instead of 160.

I wasn't finding TC every 6 secs and Revenge enough to hold against 3 dps pulling 40k plus dps, so I was using cleave to generate some more threat, but at 30 rage per, I was burning through it. I tried marking a kill order, but these guys seem to do what they want. My TC only does 8018 dmg according to the tool tip; is that reasonable for pre-raid gear or should I be looking for a stat to bring it up? Thanks

You only need to be doing 8k DPS to hold threat over DPS doing 40k. That's a pittance. Stats aren't the problem. It may be that you're doing something wrong, or that some DPS are single-targeting while you're AoE tanking. Try to see what people are focusing on, and have that be your primary target; you don't generate AoE threat perfectly evenly, and neither do DPS, so try to line those up.

Just put a marker on your primary target, preferably skulll, (I hotkey F1-F8 for this). This usually works wonders, dds actually target the skull. Also, keep up a good pace of pulling (while making sure that the healer has reasonable mana to heal you up). This gives you a head start for the dps, and is more fun anyways :-)

This should be obvious, but remember that when changing specs you have to change stance, if You of course change between tank and DPS, tanking in battle stance might be hard. Good thing to keep up with threat in AoE situations is Blood Bath. You pop this right after charge, then thuncer clap, shockwave + heroic leap (when glyphed does some nice dmg and has 30 sec CD) so that u hit at best all mobs, shield slam/revenge or devastate as filler and again thunder clap. You should have no threat issues at all after executing such rotation. Blood Bath has 1 min CD so it's up very often, heroic leap 30 seconds. Use Deadly Calm to hit 3 cleaves with reduced rage cost. For tanking imho shockwave > dragon roar, but Id also try going with bladestorm, since if im not wrong u can still dodge/parry/block incomming attacks when using bladestorm. So that might help u out also. Try going in stamina build to get more AP from Vengance. Hit/Exp build is threat generator, but remember that mastery build is also, more crit blocks = more rage. Hope this helps you. Im myself 3rd tank with rather crappy gear but for Stone Guard 25hc and Emperor Will (2nd tank can't dance) im tanking with 467 ilvl gear. Currently at 5% hit/exp and all stamina/mastery build. Also since dodge has higher DR then parry, u should have like 2.5:1 parry:dodge. GL.

On gemming it is clear to me that the Smooth Sun Radiance is better than Bold Ruby since the yellow gem has twice amount crit than the Bold has in strength. (320crit vs 160str). But the JC-only Smooth gem does not provide this twice amount. (480crit vs 320str)
Is the Smooth Serpent's Eye still better than the strength one even if it's not doubled?
