Stoneshield Potion spam

This thing is still possible in-game until they change the mechanics again.
The new potions are [Indestructible Potion]s, they are 3500 Armour for up to 4 minute fights.

0:00 Use potion, 2 minute potion buff starts. 1 minute potion cooldown starts.
0:01 Start boss encounter.
1:00 Potion cooldown comes back up, 1 minute remaining on potion buff.
2:00 Potion buff expires. Drink a second potion. Any further potions are stalled.
4:00 Second potion buff expires, no further potions can be used this fight. You're on your own now.

This is pretty borderline though, on a thin line between creative use of game mechanics and exploiting.
I think it has enough impact to justify mentioning.

Neither does [The Egg of Mortal Essence] since 3.1.

If we are putting out all enchants that could fill a purpose,
[Heavy Borean Armor Kit] and [Vindicator's Armor Kit] could both potentially fill a need.

Well, I left those out since they're matched in every slot, and are directly inferior. I tried to list options and not particularly an upgrade path all the way to 80.

Both of these are made with relatively low blacksmithing skill, and give a well needed boost in defense.

The names just aren't matching up at times. Either they are still wonky in the MPQ files or just in wowhead's database. And yes, barcers have by far the largest disparity. Most of those enchants are level 70.
Just wanted to add that this enchant was available during beta but then sadly got removed 2 months or so before the live release.

I'm also disappointed that they still haven't fixed bracer enchants for tanks to be more in line with Fur Linings. I mean 15 expertise is not really a whole lot compared to 90 stamina. Other enchants were adjusted to keep the benefit of being LW more in line with other professions, for example AP on bracers got buffed to 50AP from 38AP while the Fur Lining was nerfed from 120AP to 114AP.

I haven't seen [Repelling Charge] drop off anything but Thaddius. In fact, the only thing that leads me to believe it drops off another boss is that it dropped once off Gluth according to wowhead, but that might have been changed?

Is it me or there are two tanking necks missing in this reference guide? Both come from Malygos - one from 10-man ([Drakescale Collar]), the other from 25-man ([Nexus War Champion Beads]).

One suggestion, I know you only need 400 engy to equip the tank goggles, but as its a BoP item its true level is more realistically the 440 you need to craft it and should at least get a mention.

Also, waistguard of the tutor is actually from Razuvious not Gluth.

My fault on the engineering goggles. Didn't check the crafting level required.

It's more blizzard's fault for the daftness of having a BoP item that requires less skill to use than it does to make. It's a good system for the BoE pieces since you can make them at the one level and pass them onto somebody else to use, but on the BoP items its just silly and it does make you wonder why they aren't BoE as well.

No use for 18 stam on gloves? Even if you'd prefer Armsman, 18 stam is reasonable to include for folks who aren't having trouble with threat. It's also gonna be pretty cheap to grab from the AH, if not now then soon.

It's also better than 2000 health on chest once you account for Vitality and Blessing of Kings.

Also I think you're missing Enchant Chest - Greater Defense.

The +threat component of Armsman is pretty useless since threat is irrelevant. It's effectively a 10 parry enchant. Stam, Agility, Expertise, and Hit are all decent choices, depending on your needs.

Yes, missing the defense to chest. 18 stam after vitality and kings is 20.988 stam (210 hp at best). 275 hp is the other enchant.

Sorry I typo'd the 2000, should be 200. So 209.88 (rounding does not occur until all your stam is added, so may as well leave the 9.88 on there) vs 200. It's not much, sure, but every little bit helps.

Where are you getting 275? Wowhead and Wowdb both show me 200 for mighty health.

Aha, looks like Mighty Health is incorrectly sorting to the top on wowhead. Adding this to my spreadsheet. Thanks!

So i noticed there wasnt a replacement for Greater Rune of Warding in the new xpac. Also sharpening stones do not look to be continued for blacksmithing as well. these are 2 great consumables for tanking as well.

Oils and sharpening stones won't work on level eighty weapons. I don't know for sure, but I would be very surprised if that didn't apply to runes of warding as well. Blizzard is attempting to cut down on the amount of consumables we need to rely on for raiding.

I wonder if it was mentioned, but...

Which stat should I go for, when I've reached -5,6% mob-crit-chance?

Should I try to go for max. mitigation (stacking Stamina, Armor, Blockvalue etc.) to prevent getting damage spikes?
Do the bosses in Naxxramas hit hard (Well, I guess Patchwerk does - but what's with the others?)?

My raiding guild is going to start Naxxramas this thursday.
Most of our healers are experienced players, but im afraid of simply getting bursted, when I'm going for avoidance.

Any advice is appreciated.

btw. this is my first post on EJ-Forums and I am from germany, so I apologize for my bad english :]

Well, I can change the entirety to "hit rating" if you like. It performs better than ap/new-firey-enchant the last I saw.
