Similarly, the BiS Arms list totals to 193 hit. In fairness, he does qualify the list with "best guess" and it's sufficiently close that you can cover the gap via gemming. Personally, I'm going with the H.Anub belt until iLevel 277 pieces change the mix again.

Going under hit is fine because you can fill all those terrible yellow sockets with STR/HIT in case you didn't know.

Even when vastly under the hit cap like the BiS setups suggest, I find it somewhat surprising that theres no setups where Tiny Abomination in Jar can be fit in, especially considering the hit rating is actually usable in those setups.

The spreadsheet shows me a few hundred less DPS with Tiny Abo in Jar and str/crit or str/haste in all the yellows we'd fill with 20hit gems for the BiS setup.

Why is Tiny Abo in Jar so bad for an endgame ICC-25-heroic fury setup with high crit?

The Ashen Band of Endless Might (str rep ring) is in the latest (Feb 7, 2.602) spreadsheet.
Not suprisingly the agi version is better.

The necklaces from Love event are not yet in Armory. The download scripts breaks on that with error 91 in module 10, Function getItemLevel() (Node is null). Maybe worth putting some protection against that.

After I manually switch to Arms on the lookup page, the dps metric with either continue to display "Switch Lookup" or it will display a number, however, the number will not change as I switch out gear.

Is anyone working on a BIS list for Plate based on current gear and the projected changes in Cataclysm to remove Agi and AP from itemization? If not I may play with it and post.

Seems like a complete waste of time, to be honest. We have no idea how Str, or crit, or the built in armor pen will work once they do it. Honestly, it's months away. Why are people so worried about it?

Okay I am curious. What changed in the last few days that make DV/DC BIS for heroic Fury to displace the WFS? I generally just go by what the spread sheet says, however, this change doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone explain it?

Wouldn't call it worried. More like once they implement - anticipated to be before Cataclysm, some of the BIS pieces will be pretty useless. This would be a best guess of what to pick up now instead of letting it be sharded and to be prepared for potential performance dips related to the changes. In general if noone is interested, I won't clutter up the forum with it.

Less hit on gear means less benfit from crit at those gear levels, due to the white crit cap.
