If you set the incoming DPS high enough you're Heroic Strike damage is more than 100%, resulting in wicked DPS increases.

I've put all my details into the spread sheet but Im having some unexpected results.
My main issue is, in the arms sheet, With my current gear I'm exp/hit capped while using the t8.5 legs. When I replace them with Clockwork legplates I gain around 100 dps, but i drop 5 EXP below cap, then when I replace 2x 20 arp with 2x 20 exp, I loose around 20 dps per gem. Is this correct, perhaps something I'm misunderstanding, I was under the impression you get the highest arp, crit, ap (in that order) BUT whilst remaining exp/hit capped ?Or is the dps gain from 20 arp alot more than the extra parry/dodge I get from loosing exp

Hakt, I think that as Arms, a dodge does not necessarily have to be a bad thing, because of Overpower. I am reasonably sure it was discussed earlier in the thread.

I've been using the spreadsheet for awhile to make gear decisions - and so many thanks to Landsoul for this awesome contribution.
I've been wondering about something but dont know if I can put it down clearly or even if this is the correct thread, but here it goes.
According to the spreadsheet, with absolutely NO 3rd party buffs, as a fury warrior with 2pc 8.5, 2pc T9 - I should be doing 3652 dps. When put together with a full complement of raid buffs (the default settings on the sheet), it says I should be able to put out 7008 dps.
To test the theory, I use the dummy in org - and I can easily get 3600 (4200 when I put up sunders) during about 3 mins of constant dps.
However, when I'm in my raid, I cant seem to get above 4500-4600. Granted, I know that during a boss fight, one is usually moving and so I will lose some. But does a drop from 7k to 4500 seem reasonable? If this is everyone's experience, thats cool - I just wanted to make sure I wasnt screwing up somewhere.
There's another fury warrior on our server who has similar gear (Landsoul's sheet says he's capable of about 7300ish dps). However in the WoWlogs of his raids, on the same identical ToC25 bosses, he's able to do 5300-5500.
Is this likely just my playstyle/rotation? If so, why am I able to get the right dps numbers based on the dummy, according to the spreadsheet's prediction of my unbuffed DPS? The only other thing I can imagine is that his raid buffs are totally optimized and ours are not, thus the DPS increase.

No spreadsheet can predict how much dps you'll do in a real environment. As Landsoul said enough times, this spreadsheet is just for help you deciding between talents/gear combos.

i wanted to know if anyone else has troubles with the arms sheet?
currently im using vista home premium 64 Bit with office 2007 blue edition but every time i
press the SEP calc button the whole sheet just fucks up no matter what options i choose.
actually it just starts when i load the sheet where i get the msg that something is broken in the file and needs to be fixed.
i've downloaded the file several times and macros are allowed but this crap happens over and over again.
any suggestions?

I don't think this is the best forum for this but here's a quick answer..
Your raid may not be composed of the all the optimal buffs. Missing just one of the 10% AP, Haste, Kings, Imp Might/Imp BS, etc., can all effect your DPS. Also make sure sunders don't drop.
My spreadsheet says 7k DPS, but i usually hover around 6-6.5k This is probably due to human error and getting overzealous with slam when i should wait out the BT cooldown.
Your gear looks well-gemmed / enchanted, so nice job. Only thing else i can suggest is to eat Hearty Rhino until the next patch if you need the armor pen. And don't forget to flask!

@Yad: following to the instruction at the very first post in this thread (error-section), you have to change C102 and C104 to "0,1" instead of "0.1"

I have the exact same problem as Yad but the problem is when I try to open the spreadsheet it says "Excel found unreadable content. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook?". If I click no the spreadsheet doesn't open, if I click yes the spreadsheet opens but no macros at all will work. I did change the settings to allow all macros and changing those cells won't make the sep macro or any other macro work.

The arms sheet works fine for me, but when I use the fury sheet I get bombarded with #DIV/0! I tried to change C102/C104 to 0,1 instead of 0.1 but that just made some of the errors become #VALUE!. Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else having this issue?

Slam suggestions.
I noticed in the new spreadsheet there is a small entry for when to use slam. Currently I'm using EventAlert for slam procs, but it does not count down in tenths of a second. Is there a better mod or a way to truly make it mimic OmniCC? Also OmniCC only tracks tenths < 2 seconds, is there a way to change it to 3 seconds?
