There's 2 small Issues I'm having with the spreadsheet too. The first one is that Glyph of Heroic Strike doesn't give any dps increase at all for Arms. Of course maybe it's just a bad glyph but I'm using an Incite spec and the spreadsheet actually predicts a Heroic Strike usage of 6,41% of total which is actually more than the 6.01% Execute usage it predicts. To explain more clearly, with current gear the spreadsheet predicts 8035 dps with Glyph of Execute and with Glyph of Heroic Strike it predicts 7988. Ok glyph is bad I tought, 10 rage every crit still isn't good enough, but the problem then was, that when I selected no glyph in that particular slot (i.e. remaning only with glyph of MS and glyph of Rend) it still showed 7988, meaning that the spread sheet doesn't even care for glyph of Heroic strike as Arms. I might be wrong maybe the glyph just is 0 dps but well in a raid environment where heroic strike gets to around 70% crit I'm not sure this is all true.

The second issue is about the 4t10 bonus. Again I am not sure of this. The thing is, currently with 2t10 (shoulders and hands) and 2t9 (pants and chest)+ Helmet of Wrath the spreadsheet says, as I said above x dps. Problem is, when I upgrade helmet of wrath and t9 chest to t10 the predicted dps drops by almost 150. The only difference in these 2 setups are that in the 1st I have the 2t9 bonus, the second setup i have upgraded versions of the same gear just that instead of 2t9 i get the 4t10 bonus. So basically, 6% ArP is 150 more dps than 8Str, 8ArP, 24 crit AND the 4t10 proc. I just find this hard to believe since the 4t10 proc seems really good, at least for Arms. It can also be something I missed, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure the 4t10 bonus is underevaluated (I'm sorry if this issue has already been reported)

It could be latency, but not in the way you describe. Everything in the combat log comes from the server, none of it is client-generated. However, they're sent in groups, so if you have millisecond timestamps on you'll notice that 3-10 events all have the exact same timestamp, then some milliseconds later the next bunch all have the exact same one. It could be that the 2 events were separated into different packets even though server-side the occured "simultaneously".

The main issue however, is that Deep Wounds ticks more often than refresh delay calculations would suggest.

You shouldn't have to use that when you have iterative calculations turned on. That's probably your source of error.

Hello guys,

I got a error when running the Spreadsheet :

"Excel found unreadable content in 'WarriorDPS2.601Excel07.xlsm'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."

So I click Yes and the Spreadsheet launches but I get another error :

"Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content (removed part : /xl/vbaProject.bin)".

Then, when I write my character name and server and click on "Fetch Armory", nothing happens.

I'm not common with Excel so I'd like a bit of light here...

Thanks for your help.

It appears that the "from cap" numbers are 1 off. For instance, if i am 1 away from the hit cap (262/7.99%) it tells me that i'm 0 away from the cap. For a long time I assumed this was because the 1 more hit would bring me over the cap, making it not worth it. However, when i'm at 25 exp it says I am 0 away from the cap, and upon adding 1 exp rating, it bumps me to 26 exp.

EDIT: This could also be an error in the doll section of the sheet, when I add the 1 exp rating it goes from 25/6.50% to 26/6.53%

I get the same error messages, however I also recieve a message stating that the file is locked for edititing when i click fetch armory...does anyone have any suggestions on this?

well, it can't happen anything, if Excel removes the macros (removed part : /xl/vbaProject.bin).

Maybe you should download the file again

Do you use Excel 2003 without any service pack? I got this error message too, just installed the latest service pack and everything was fine then...

I just create a new version of my ImportItems.xlsm to compare the version 2.6.1 Lookup page with wowheads.com.

As before you'll see all found variations / typos marked at the compare page.

Further I added a right-click function for the Item name (currently it will show you the German item-tooltip from buffed.de, but I'm searching for a way to get this infos from the armory or wowheads dircet).

If you would add the item ID to your lookup, I'll be able to implement this function to your sheet too (could it do with the name only too, but it will be much slower and will cause problems with heroic / non heroic items)

I don't know if it has been noted but, Rotface's Rupturing Ring proper socket bonus is +4 arp and not +4 str has shown in the spreadsheet.

Are you using Windows 7? It seems to have a hard time working with script heavy spreadsheets, and there is no solid solution as far as I know.
