About IXI

<IXI> are an Adult Horde guild on the EU Terenas server dedicated to raiding 10man content in Cataclysm. We are aiming to raid for 2-3 days a week ranging from 3-4hours each night across Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, between the hours of 8 and 11pm GMT. We are all serious players who have raided through vanilla, BC and LK in 40,25,20,10man content. With the upcoming changes to the raid lockouts in Cataclysm, we decided that a smaller group of focused and talented players would make for a better and more efficient raiding experience. <IXI> is aiming to clear the equivalent "Glory of the X Raider" and kill all heroic 10man bosses in a timely fashion.

We are not a “casual guild” per se but are a bunch of adult raiders who want to make our time in raids as productive as possible for all involved and thus giving ourselves more time for a life outside the game. Some of us are people who prefer to play just 2-3 days and some of us play everyday. As such, we will be a guild who has plenty of high level alts who will be looking to do alt raids and rated battlegrounds on our off-nights.

About You

-It is important that applicants have a sense of humour, we want to enjoy our time playing as well as progressing in a timely fashion, once we stop enjoying ourselves it feels too much like a 2nd job.
-Applicants should know their class and spec inside out and always be willing to go that extra mile for their character or the guild.
-We value vanilla and TBC raiding very highly so please mention that in any application.
-Above all players must be able to speak on vent and take/offer constructive critiscim when required. (No vent rages please)

Raid Setup

Our raid setup will be to have 10 raiders. These people are committed to knowing strats, able to turn up week in and week out. Also the raiding team will be made up of 10 classes/specs which will optimise our dps, healing and tanking abilities for the encounters we face and as such we will be selective about what class/spec we recruit in to the guild where possible. Also there will be gear synergy within the raids allowing the loot not to be wasted.

As well as recruiting for our 10man raid team we would like to recruit some reserves, these will be people who can't make it every raid night but will be able to step in as a high calibre replacement and know all the tactics. We will also be recruiting social members who would like to be in an active and (very) amusing guild, we do social raids on friday nights where people sometimes like to have a beverage or 2
