Brill Community College is a 10 player hardcore orientated English speaking guild recruiting for swift and successful progression in Firelands.
BCC have been around since the start of Cata, with a core set of players that form our concise and close community. All of our players have WoW backgrounds dating back to vanilla and this is something we prefer in an applicant.
We are currently recruiting a shadow priest, healing priest and protection paladin or feral druid. This said, we shall still consider any notable application.
Raiding days are Monday, Tuesday (alt run depending on progressional progress), Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 19.30 – 23.30 server time. Applications are expected to make 4/5 raid days at minimum. We are not a bunch of compulsively rule bashing guys, if you are going away or have a big business meeting we obviously can make do with any issues as long as they are made clear in advance. Our members are predominantly 21-25 years old with some members in their 30s.
Dentarg Server
At Dentarg we have a largely horde population. It is not a big server and for that reason there are lesser numbers in terms of players we consider suitable for our guild. We consider ourselves the no.1 10 player guild on the server, regardless of mishaps developing as a guild and people disappearing which has been a common problem with 10 player guild raiding and keeping such a concise roster, we have always pushed through and with the acquisition of better players, we are aiming high.
The BCC community
We don’t like overstocking our players, we recruit what’s needed and we use our players effectively. Our attitudes and ethos towards raiding is do it and do it well, but enjoy the journey. Loot is merely a subsidiary factor that helps us along the way, we are particular in wanting to see end game content and beat that challenge as fast as possible.
For this reason we use loot council as a loot distribution system. If you consider yourself a useful addition to any raid, any loot distribution system will evidentially favour you as a suitable candidate.
At BCC we like to think 10 player raiding is more of a challenge, raid composition is far more crucial and inflexible as opposed to 25 player. As a guild 10 player raiding does present more of a difficult challenge, which when we succeed it has proven far more rewarding than when we have accomplished personal 25 player raiding goals.
I see it useless to talk about pre-raiding requisites as the standard of applicants we aim to obtain from this post should know the deal. That said, guild bank access for enchants, flasks, food and repairs is standard upon passing a trial. However, for a trial purpose it would be very naive to rely on cauldrons and feasts as opposed to bringing your own pre-raid requisites, just saying.
Our roster is full of unemployed, real life slacking individuals from an array of countries, predominantly Sweden, England and Holland. Of course, there is the odd member from most major European countries. We have a laugh, take raiding seriously and during the day there is no doubt you have fellow members online to gear up alts, do PVP with and chit-chat. Some members know each other in real life, some members share their professional real life skills and work together on projects such as web and graphic design, we really like to see ourselves as a continuous active community in which raiding is basically our night time activity.
Application Process
You can apply through the guild website (
Brill Community College), this is an application template form, so you don’t have to be that imaginative in writing your own application, though, we do like ‘beefy’ and well written applications, regardless of English being your primary language. Your application in our eyes is a reflection of your suitability and gaming perspective, if you rather not put the effort in filling a 10 minute form out, you certainly don’t project a very positive image of yourself as a skilled player.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss anything with an officer PM me, make an alt on Dentarg and get in contact with a guild member who will pass you on or fill out the contact form on the site, each option will warrant an equally fast reply, we don’t sit around all day for no reason!
We are well prepared for the release of Firelands and are aiming high, server no.1 being the minimum of our expectations, we look forward to your application.
