Solar Wind is an end-game raiding guild, currently ranked 1st in 25 man content on Dragonblight EU (PVE). As of this edit, we are 6/7HC in 25M.

We raid on Wed, Thurs, Sun and Mon every week from 8pm till 11.30pm Server Time (GMT +1), and our loot is awarded using a relatively simple DKP system.

What We’re Looking For

Most importantly, we are looking for people that want to raid, and want to raid well. Players should enjoy playing the game to the best of their ability, and so motivation to achieve maximum performance in raids should come naturally. A high level of commitment to raiding and guild progress is expected from all our members, and this involves maintaining high raid attendance. As well as dedication to raiding, we also highly value the social aspect of our guild. A solid team atmosphere is very crucial to us, and so members should enjoy the social aspect of being in an active raiding guild.

Classes we need most right now:

• Balance Druid
• Mage
• Holy/Disc Priest

However even if your class is not listed, feel free to make an application. We actually have recruitment open for several extra DPS classes (these are listed on our website), but we particularly need the classes listed above. We always give strong consideration to any exceptional applications and always like to keep a few spots open in the raiding squad for strong players of any class.

Key Requirements

We require that players have solid raid awareness as well as knowing how to play their class well. Players should be able to utilise all the tools that their class brings to a raid.
Being vocal on vent is extremely important, especially if you have a critical role in the raid. If you do not have a working microphone then we will have a hard time considering you for a raiding spot.
Members must come prepared for raids, and must also understand that everyone will at some point have to sit out for a raid.
Players must also possess a stable internet connection and a raid capable computer that will not explode.

About Us and What We Offer

The guild is managed by a team of experienced officers, who most importantly enjoy running it. We do our best to be a group of intelligent, level headed and fair people, and these are qualities that we always try and retain in our decisions. We are also understanding with people, and we invite members to talk to us about any problems or issues that they might have.

We also have a lot of fun as a guild, and we like to socialise outside of raids as much as we do during them. Although we are a raiding guild, we also consider ourselves a group of friends, and as a result we have a great atmosphere. Despite this, we have no problems welcoming new members into the guild, and so becoming a part of this is perhaps one of the best things that we offer.
