AO in a Nutshell

AO is about letting people with "Real Lives" experience the end-game content. We have a relatively light and structured raiding schedule (tues/weds/sun, 20:00-00:00, fixed) but we take our raids and gaming seriously; the philosophy is quality over quantity. We value "nice people" who fit in with our social vibe as much as our gaming aspirations: we'd rather take a nice guy with good dps, than an !@#$%^& with amazing dps.

* We raid 3 nights a week (Tue, Wed, Sun 20.00 GT - midnight GT). This allows people to have a life and play the game.

* We're a mature guild with the majority of members over 20, with jobs/wives/even kids

* Our motto is 'Quality over Quantity'. We raid less than most guilds and therefore expect a higher standard of raiders and we have higher requirements. We are not Hardcore Elitists, we are guys (and girls) with lives outside of wow, yet striving to achieve the best we can within the game. Our game time is precious and therefore we expect quality people to spend it with. We extend the same respect for your game time.

* We do our best to maintain a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere during raids. However we WILL continually be giving feedback on performance and errors. Be prepared to explain your reasons for any errors and to improve your performance without taking any of the comments personally "Raiding for grown-ups" would make a pretty good tagline for the guild.

What we're looking for;
- You're a grown-up (or at least act like one most of the time).
- You are able to communicate in English.
- You have a stable ISP and decent computer.
- You have exceptional knowledge of your class and game mechanics.
- You take raiding seriously and PvE progress is your primary goal.

You can do a private application by using the template and sending a PM to Cireland

If you'd like to talk to us in game first then the officers are Cireland, Oriental; but feel free to buzz anyone for a chat.

We'll acknowledge your application and you'll probably be asked some questions about it, so check the forum regularly. It normally takes us a few days to a week to make a decision.
