<Solaris> has recently been born out of a core raid team, previously frustrated in a semi serious raiding guild.
In our first three nights of 10man Ulduar we cleared EVERYTHING and in our first month we downed YOGG SARON 25. We're focused, experienced players who know what we're doing.
Introduction
We sincerely believe a guild should be a tight knit group of friends that help and understand each other. Our guild is PvE oriented, towards progression raiding. Many players are interested in this style of play, however the game offers many different options for players (PvP, solo-grinding, ...). We have noticed that it is very difficult to keep all these options open within one guild, that's why we require all our guildies to follow the same set of guidelines. This reduces clashes and like-minded players have a higher chance of working towards a successful raid!
What we offer
* Small guild: roughly 40 members when we reach capacity
* Secure raid spots: A minority will be backup, but all members will be offered enough opportunities to raid.
* 3/4 25-man raids per week: Currently Wed-Thur-Sun-Mon-Tues 8PM-12.00PM server time. Friday and Saturday are off-days with optional 10man raids running.
* Guidance and advice from Officers
* Focus on progression raiding
* A friendly atmosphere where constructive criticism is encouraged.
What we ask from you
* Be PvE oriented: Gear, talent spec, atittude and interests should be towards progression raiding. You also search online resources to calculate how efficient you can tank/heal/DPS.
* Availability: Please be online at least 3 days per week, and possibly follow the guild on a daily basis.
* Full raid attendance: If you signed up for a raid, you stay for the whole raid. The RL will be considerate to stop at a reasonable hour, but will call the shots. Going AFK every 15 minutes for extended periods of time is not acceptable.
* Mature behaviour: While we like having a laugh now and then, immature comments or spamming GC or RC is not allowed. Wiping will be frustrating, but we expect all members to try again and again until the encounter is mastered.
Good Luck & Happy Hunting!
