Nocturnal is looking for a Holy Paladin, Elemental Shaman and one Mage for our 25-person raid team. All exceptional applications will be considered. We are currently 6/12 in ICC(25).

Guild History
Nocturnal was officially formed in March 2008 on the Kul Tiras EU server as a joint venture between skilled players who shared a desire to have a late-night raiding guild that better fit the lifestyle of those with jobs and families whilst maintaining good raid performance and progress. At its peak Nocturnal had more than 70 members and 35 active raiders, and at one point it was ranked 10th on the EU Kul Tiras server. Our ranks thinned over the summer of 2009, as did many guilds’ on Kul Tiras, so in October 2009 the guild moved to the EU Silvermoon server in order to take advantage of better population rates and to prepare for future content releases. We are now actively recruiting additional members for our 10 and 25-person raid teams.

Who We Are
Nocturnal is an established late-night raiding guild of skilled players who share a desire to progress through end-game content. We are a mature guild for mature players, with a minimum age requirement of 18. Most of our members are working adult gamers with professional and family commitments, so we endeavor to use our game time as effectively and efficiently as possible. Our members have a high-degree of mutual respect for one another, and we maintain a fun, relaxed environment that is conducive to team building and high-end raiding. While Nocturnal has a leadership structure that is built around several long-term members, every guild member is considered and treated as an equal. All guild decisions are made by council vote, and new members have the same voice and input as the veterans do. Nocturnal is a 100% team enterprise.

Who We Are Not
We are not a training guild, nor are we a PvP guild. We are not here to teach class mechanics, nor are we here to guide players through older game content. We are a raiding guild oriented towards high-end PvE progression through current end-game content.

Wednesday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT
Thursday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT
Sunday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT

Guild Application Process
Please submit an online application form in the guild recruitment forum at Nocturnal - Recruitment - Guild Forum. Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be 18 years or older with a desire to join a focused raiding community that fosters teamwork and healthy competition.
2. Be ready to participate in 10 and 25-person PvE raid progression and hard modes with a character that has the appropriate gear levels, talents, enchants, gems, and glyphs.
3. Have an intricate knowledge of the class you play, and know how to maximize your individual performance while contributing to the group effort.
4. Be willing to put in the time and work necessary to unlock new content.
5. Be mature and dependable while being relaxed and easy-going. We are a serious group that likes to have fun.
6. Be willing to learn from mistakes and accept constructive criticism.
7. Recognize that we raid as a team, and that all Nocturnal guild members will be treated equally and with mutual respect.
8. Be capable of following the raid leader’s instructions and be flexible and open-minded when assigned specialized roles during specific encounters.
9. Become familiar with Nocturnal guild rules and agree to abide by them.

Applications will be reviewed by appropriate class leaders and guild officers. Successful applicants will receive an invitation to join Nocturnal for a no-strings-attached trial period that will last for two weeks.

It is important to note that the primary function of the selection process is to maintain our guild’s standards. If you are not accepted it does not mean that you are a bad player or that you are not a fun person to raid with. Likewise, being accepted into Nocturnal does not mean that you are an elite player either.
