# About Us:

Maligned is a casual-hardcore horde guild on EU-Arathor.
Formed shortly after release, Maligned has consistently been at the forefront of raiding on the server, capturing a number of server firsts despite keeping sane and employed person friendly raiding hours(see below) which places us in stark contrast to the server opposition.

# What we are looking for:

We are currently interested in recruiting one or more of the following!

A Protection Warrior
A Holy Paladin
A Retribution Paladin
A Discipline Priest
A Shadow Priest
A Rogue
A Feral Druid(tank or dps considered)
A Restoration Shaman

# Raiding Information

Maligned believes in quality over quantity when it comes to raiding, and hence runs a four days per week raiding schedule:
Tuesday 19:30-24:00
Wednesday 19:30-24:00
Thursday 19:30-24:00
Sunday from 18:00-24:00
(All times are CET)
Our approach to the content though is in a hardcore manner, we expect all raiders to come to raids with the correct specs, enchants and gear choices appropriate to get the maximum out of their class.
The guild has a small pool of raiders(30-35) so naturally an attendance of close to 100% is a requirement should you be looking to apply.

# What are we looking for?

People who are dedicated to the PvE aspects of the game and who actively spend their time maximising their performance in this aspect of the game.
People who play well and adapt well to a team.
People who know their class inside and out.
Players with good raiding gear.
Players who aren't emotionally crippled, Maligned is a drama-free and stable guild and we wish to keep it that way.

# What can you expect?

A stable, successful and long lasting guild.
Free consumables provided by the guild. Flasks, fish feasts.
Raids led intelligently with a regular scapegoat(Shemzy) so that others don't have to be.

We have just opened recruitment for a Restoration druid and healing priest, currently working on our third heroic encounter having got Halfus and Chimeron down on 25 man heroic.

Maligned has been a progression based raiding guild on Arathor since the days of Vanilla and has a long history of being one of the most reputable guilds on the server with a few server firsts to our name, most noticeably Algalon and Lich King 25heroic.

After being a 10man guild through Cataclysm and the start of MoP we took the decision to once again move back into the purer raiding experience and change back to a 25man guild. Since this has happened we have been playing catch-up but have gone through a noticeable up-turn in momentum and have progressed quite quickly through the Heroic encounters we have currently attempted.

We hope to continue to push forwards in 5.2 and bring Maligned back to the status it once held and to do so we are looking to bring in a few more recruits to help in our efforts.

We are currently accepting applicants that can fill the following roles:

Ranged DPS
Elemental Shaman
Mage
Hunter
Shadow Priest

Melee DPS
Deathknight
Rogue
Monk

Healers
Priest
Shaman

We will however always consider exceptional applicants for other roles not currently open but please keep in mind your chances of being accepted are slimmer due to your role being considered full

Our raid schedule puts an emphasis on quality over quantity and as such we expect all our raiders to turn up to raids fully prepared with food/pots/flasks etc and to have read up on the encounters we are working on. Our raiding times are as follows:

Wednesday: 20:00-23:00
Thursday: 20:00-23:00
Sunday: 20:00-23:00
Tuesday: 20:00-23:00
