I just logged into live, it appears the Ascension buff is live! 13.54 energy/sec with 7,572 haste rating. I wonder if I should start going into crit past 7k like Eenix mentioned. I'll play around with it and see if I gain anything.

Just a few questions regarding upgrades.

I'm in a guild which is progressing into heroics atm (3/6 mv) so I'm probably going to save my upgrades for heroic pieces/bis. Is the DMC trinket still the best? I spent 2 upgrades on my garajal heroic fist because there's a fair few fist users in the guild and we haven't even killed a heroic boss in HOF yet so i figure 2x heroic claws is a fair way away. Because i dont have any other heroic gear pieces I was thinking of upgrading my dmc trinket next. would it be a good choice?

Yes DMC is a good choice as would be heroic Bottle of Infinite stars.

As for Dancing Steel, after testing in raid tonight I'm getting getting 80ish % uptime on dancing steel running the enchant on both weapons (2x 1h) and a rogue in my group is running 1 dancing steel and 1 windsong and he's getting 75%ish uptime.

I'd like to know if anyone else is seeing similar results.

Just keep in mind that normal claws with sha gem beats heroic gara'kal for your offhand (if you get a 2nd heroic fist).

Yeah there's no way i'd use a second heroic fist over a sha gemmed claw. But when i do get a heroic claw because the gems are unique equipped heroic gara'kal is still going to be better than an ungemmed claw normal so it should be a while.

I got a single up on my trinket as well before raid.

Sitting at like 7k haste I definetly started feeling a bit energy capped with full raid buffs (a combination of the haste/mastery buffs provided in raid), but I'm hoping that picking up the trinket off lei shi tonight will help solve that a bit. The regen with the new ascension is pretty crazy.

I don't know how much valor you had saved up, but I went for both weapon upgrades on MH and OH (had HC Garajal Claw and Shagemmed Shekzeer Claw), and somewhere during this week will get my first upgrade on DMC Card. Those are the items I'm 'stuck' with the longest, I presume.

Energy capping is a big problem when trying to hit Fists of Fury on cooldown with 2pc bonus. I had to drop from about ~7k haste to about 5.6k haste and put the difference into crit. I still have to sometimes delay FoF to use Energizing Brew.

I am not sure if it's worth doing this or if I should raise my haste to ~6-7k and simply use FoF less often.

My tooltip for RSK now states that affected targets take 15% additional damage. That was 10% pre 5.1. Can someone confirm this? It would mean a nice buff dmg buff for us.

I have 6966 haste with 1425 mastery and I very RARELY hit energy cap and thats without delaying my FoF with 2pc, it is quite possible to do, just need alot of practice

Regarding weapon enchants, has any spreadsheet or sim been updated with the new changes to Dancing Steel?

It's on RPPM now and also does not stack multiple times, so the value of a second enchant drops as it refreshes the old buff. The uptime does improve however.

Wondering whether windsong or elemental force would be a better (and 100x cheaper) choice.

Was this an intended change in 5.1? I was seeing double DS procs as recently as this Tuesday, the night before the patch. I also didn't see this mentioned in patch notes or any blue posts, so I find it a bit strange.

looking through the armory of most of the windwalkers on here, you are mostly reforging fully to Crit > Haste. is this the way to go with the changes from 5.1? i haven't tested it myself yet, so if possible would you able to say if you've noticed much of a dps increase, and if so how much vs Haste?

Also do we have any time scale when simulation craft or any spreadsheets will be updated? so we can test our new stat weights

I've dropped a bit of haste to get below 7k, not sure yet if I want to drop more. Don't have 4piece bonus yet so that might also influence things.
