This rotation locks you lower haste, and relatively few TEB stacks, but crit and mastery stay relatively even in value.

If this is the case, I will post up some decent logs tonight. Though I have been wondering, if FoF is used properly how much of a dps increase is it these days, still 1-2%? I'm only thinking this due to using a higher haste still and dropping it due to movement fights, this should give us a slightly better uptime on tiger eye.

I tweetet ghost crawler comparing the same geared monk in 5.1 vs 5.2 and posted on the forums.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...wQnk2clE#gid=7
Take a look at the spreadsheet and if something looks amiss let me know. I basically just scaled all the damage of our attacks by the RSK and stance nerfs adding chi wave and redistributing stats for 5.2

Has anyone worked out a good way to get SEF spirits out quickly? I've been experimenting with mouseover macros but I still lose ~2 GCDs getting them out, more if i misclick and a spirit doesnt pop out, or I accidentally attack one of the spirits' targets and have to start the process over again.

There's a new addon that warns you if you attack the same target of your spirit (not sure what happens if mutliple mobs are called the same though):
Storm, Earth, and Fire - Monk - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover] Storm, Earth, and Fire
/cancelaura [mod:shift] Storm, Earth, and Fire
That's the macro I use for it.
Here is a link to a weak aura made by Shamarox over at MMO-Champion for better tracking SEF

Picked up a Rune at the end of the first reset. Definitely adds something fun to the playstyle and I'm a big fan of the item in general, but the results haven't been that stellar for me so far, compared to how amazing it was on PTR. Might just be the spec overall though, which does feel slightly over-nerfed.
After a lot of re-gemming and experimentation, I feel around 4-5k haste is the best level for most heroic content, given the amount of movement and target switching that goes on. You'll run dry if you stick on a single target for long enough, but between FoF and chi wave it doesn't feel like a huge loss, and anything in the 7k area is overkill for a lot of situations.

Salty posted earlier in the thread about changes to it, not completely sure if it had at the time due to no blue posts.
Did some small amount of testing on LFR it seems to work with huge hit boxes fully, also after checking dummy testing its almost double damage of a BoK+Dot so it is definitely worth prioritizing over it.
I was not using FoF while trying out keeping at a higher haste build due to allowing better use of tiger eye and have quite nice results so far (180k jin'rokh LFR, i know its LFR but yeah). I'm not completely sure of the loss of not using FoF with a high haste build vs using it with a lower haste build, but with the amount of movement require for majority of the bosses in ToT I cant see us able to fully utilize FoF anyway.
I will try to get some decent logs up tonight with a High haste build (6776 haste, Crit > Mastery) and not using FoF on cd at least, but more so if I have low energy issues and the provided window to use it and not waste time on our other cds.

On a training dummy I was seeing Chi Wave 1.3x as much damage as a BOK+dot. Looking at some Jin'rohk logs, was seeing CW do ~1.5 as much damage as a BOK. This could be due to encounter mechanics, but I don't see the doubles you are seeing.
CW wasn't buffed, it was fixed so it would bounce properly. I don't think anyone can say right now whether using it or not would be a DPS gain. In my mind, it breaks even and there is no penalty for using it.

I'm confused, where was this ever posted that it was already fixed? Last I saw was they were looking into hotfixing it, but has not been done yet.

Oh interesting, it was fixed, I used it some on Jin'Rohk last night but the results might be skewed a bit due to the buff pools. But on average including crits BoK hit (with dot) for 199,550 and Chi wave hit for 251,091 per use.
So +25% dmg but no TeB stack but also no chi or energy cost.

WoL seems to have bugged our Jin'Rokh heroic kill, comes up as normal mode, though managed to get a good log eventually. Though a high haste build will not work while using Chi Wave and FoF. anyway I'll post it below.
Damage Done - 13-03 18:51 - Ecology - World of Logs
I dropped my haste to around 4.5k then went flat out Crit > Mastery. I have made no changes to my gear if you need to check armoury for any reason.

Made some changes to my spreadsheet.
Found a bug that was causing the spreadsheet to have fewer GCDs than in reality.
Chi Wave = good. Use it on CD. When you start to GCD cap, back off haste.

With which stat values did you try out RoR? I checked your armory and you currently have tons of crit which doesn't help with RoR at all.
Get all your secondary stats equal, with a bit of extra mastery (say 6000 6000 and 6100) and then try using it. Pop your TeB at the last second of the RoR buff and it should give you tons of benefit if you haven't tried already.

So it really does appear that Chi Wave was hotfixed, I really wish they'd say something about it or post the notes, makes me wonder what other hotfixes may have gone in.
Has anybody tested Zen Sphere to see if the change to Chi Wave also fixed the range issues on Zen Sphere? Unlikely that Zen Sphere is better in the majority of situations, but worth finding out for future reference.
