As far as dungeons go, I'd like to see more 10-mans. Firstly because they're easier to organise and perpetuate; I ran a kara/ZA group for 10 friends, which promptly fell apart when we tried the...

I've raided as both Rogue and Warrior (And warrior as both Tank and DPS)

In Kara, I'd definatley bring a rogue. Most adequete rogues can bring high DPS even without being buffed to the eyeballs....

Am I wrong, but did Combat Daggers have the slowest accelleration to maximum DPS of any of the rogue builds? I presume this is because it has the slowest combo point generation. It's not really...

TC very much gets the worst of both worlds, it's does phsyical damage, yet is constrained by spell mechanics. Something intended by Blizzard?

Because it's Physical for some odd reason, and therefore is affected by armour. Go TC a rat, you'll see the difference.

On a related note, has anyone noticed that TC isn't critting that much? I...

Breaking the "Holy Trinity" of grouping

One thing I've noticed about the raid encounters recently in WoW is an attempt to diverge from the "Tank - DPS - Healer" group composition that has been so evident up to this point. I read somewhere...

I doubt that the season 2 offhand will be comparable. It's PvP gear, after all, and PvP swords have a tendancy to be 1.8 speed. I'm basing this on shaky evidence, there's only been two and a half...

+hit is more important for a combat rogue, primarily because of Combat Potency, so it's a cheap stat (especially for the first 9% or so when it's more or less equal to +crit) for a lot of very nice...

In 2v2, with myself (a 31.30 MS warrior) and a Priest, we can take most Healer/DPS duos (I blame Mace spec, my priest blames me :D), but we have real problems with burst-duos and conrol-duos, like...

Let's talk most potential DPS!

So, which of all the nine classes has the best potential for DPS? I'm thinking something along the lines of Warlock with Shadowpriest synergy, or maybe a Warrior who doesn't have to worry about rage...

I'd like to see something going on indoors. I know it's heavily imbalanced against casters, but I'm so bored of all the open-field BGs now. I want multi-teired castles, or labyrinths, or somthing...

The "Bare Minimum" +hit is governed by your +crit. With Glancing blows which can't crit, you'll need more +hit to remove the crit cap (since crit eats into your normal (non glancing) attacks.

In response to Jaffar's last point:

5% crit is more universal, and applies more readily to Eviscerate and Sinister Strike, and the crit damage they do it more than a white hit/crit, and sword spec...

Excellent, thanks for the feedback. Since Find Weakness DOES apply to other finishing moves, I'd imagine throwing a 3/4cp rupture/evis a few seconds after a SnD would be worth it?

[Rogue] 41.20.0 viable DPS?

Mutilate seems to be the be-all and end-all of most of the rogues I know at the moment, and I've been hearing a lot of buzz over the 41.20.0 Muti/DW-spec build.

Taking into account that DWspec is...

I'm still an advocate of an instance that splits your party into two. I.E, a 10man that requires two groups of 5 to be in completely different zones to each other, and fight it as two 5-mans....

With mostly instance blues, after a Black Morass run, I was running at, with Combat Swords:

50% White damage
30% Sinister Strike
10% Instant Poison
10% Other stuff (sword procs, evicerate, rupture)

Gnomeregan would be fun in Heroic! Especially if those Alarmbots had more HP... And maybe a different bossfight for the Electro-spider on the platform. The run up to Thermaplugg would be hellish,...

I've seen it before. It sets a good standard comparison for outright mitigation, even though fights will diverge from it in game. Not sure about the accuracy of the Paladin/Druid/Warrior comparisons,...
