It's not that much impressive. Hodir dps is all about getting lucky with buffs and at XT you can chain hearts for some insane damage. Vezax or Thorim P2 are much better bosses to compare dps.

It's not much, but you won't find another talent which provides you ~2% damage for one point. Additionally aoe damage isn't important in serious Ulduar fights aka hard modes. Not even Thorim.

I still think, that BP is better. UP lets you use 50% more gcd's and your rotation has like one or two more than normal. It may not feel as fluent as it does with UP, but the damage should be higher.
