I think this is a great idea and exactly what is needed. A fresh 70 can't do anything in arenas, and you have to do arenas to get decent gear to be competitive (which takes forever at 1300 rating)....

Some additional info: the players in my guild team are all full pvp gear with some season 3 stuff, fully gemmed and enchanted for the most part. Skill wise, they're somewhere in the 1900-2000 range...

I have no idea... it seems like mage and warlock are fairly interchangeable in most setups. They bring CC and dps, and are fairly survivable if geared and specced properly (soul link and iceblock)....
